{"id":304789,"date":"2024-01-08T06:49:52","date_gmt":"2024-01-08T12:49:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.liveaction.org\/news\/?p=304789"},"modified":"2024-01-07T19:39:06","modified_gmt":"2024-01-08T01:39:06","slug":"woman-injured-chicago-abortion-911-audio","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/woman-injured-chicago-abortion-911-audio\/","title":{"rendered":"Woman injured at Chicago abortion business, but city refuses to release 911 audio"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;\" class=\"sharethis-inline-share-buttons\" ><\/div><p>Watchdog group Operation Rescue <a href=\"https:\/\/www.operationrescue.org\/archives\/chicago-covers-for-abortion-facility-injuries-continue\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">has learned that<\/a> that in April of 2023, a woman was injured at the Chicago abortion facility Family Planning Associates Medical Group (FPA) at 659 West Washington Boulevard.<\/p>\n<p>According to a computer-aided dispatch <a href=\"https:\/\/abortiondocs.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/EventQuery_-_2023-05-05T114149.159_R-1.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">transcript<\/a>, an ambulance was called for a 40-year-old woman on April 26, shortly after 9 a.m. There are no further details as to the woman&#8217;s injuries; while the Federal Freedom of Information Act grants the public access to 911 calls, the city of Chicago refused to supply Operation Rescue with the audio recording of the call.<\/p>\n<p>Operation Rescue did find an online review posted in June in which a woman gave the facility one star and wrote, &#8220;They did not complete their job. I had to have surgery to get the rest of what they left, and I had to have 3 blood transfusions because I almost bled out to death!! DO NOT Recommend!!!&#8221; There is no way of knowing if this is the same woman from April or a victim of another incident, however, the abortion business has been the <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/chicago-abortion-facility-911-woman-cant-wake\/\">site of multiple<\/a> emergency <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/chicago-abortion-facility-history-911-injures-woman\/\">calls<\/a> for <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/chicago-abortion-business-history-911-injures-more\/\">injuries<\/a> in the past.<\/p>\n<p><strong>READ: <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/media-never-tells-abortion-injuries\/\"><em>What the media never tells you about abortion injuries<\/em><\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>While the city of Chicago appears unwilling to provide transcripts of the 911 call, it is also actively working to silence pro-lifers who are sidewalk counseling outside this abortion business. In November, a Chicago City Council committee <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/chicago-city-council-committee-quiet-abortion-ordinance\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">advanced an ordinance<\/a> that would establish a &#8220;quiet zone&#8221; around the facility, which already has a 50-foot buffer zone. A pro-abortion city council member is claiming that sidewalk counselors are \u201cincreasingly aggressive\u201d toward women visiting the facility, but Eric Scheidler, executive director of Pro-Life Action League, previously told Live Action News, &#8220;There\u2019s just no way that that\u2019s true.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere is no telling how many women are seriously injured at this facility,\u201d said Operation Rescue President Troy Newman. \u201cIt is shameful that the city of Chicago seems to care more about silencing those attempting to inform potential victims of this dangerous operation while also hiding important public information from the community and others who would perhaps travel to the facility from out of state.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Newman added, &#8220;In the midst of such flagrant censorship, we are so grateful for those still on the front lines at these killing centers \u2013 faithfully working to save innocent babies and bring spiritual food and financial help to the moms and families who choose life.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span class=\"s1\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.liveaction.org\/tell-congress-stop-the-doj-from-targeting-pro-life-americans\/?utm_campaign=doj_petition&amp;utm_medium=lan_website\"><b><i>The DOJ put a pro-life grandmother in jail this Christmas for protesting the killing of preborn children.
