It appears that little has been learned in the state in the 10 years since Philadelphia abortionist Kermit Gosnell was sent to prison after his &#8220;house of horrors&#8221; was exposed.<\/p>\n<p>According to the report, nine of the state&#8217;s abortion businesses received infractions: Allentown Women&#8217;s Center, Philadelphia Women&#8217;s Center, Planned Parenthood Lancaster, Planned Parenthood Norristown, Planned Parenthood Philadelphia (Comly Rd.), Planned Parenthood Philadelphia (Locust St.), Planned Parenthood Reading, Planned Parenthood Wilkes Barre, and Planned Parenthood York. The health inspection results were provided by the Pennsylvania Department of Health.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">WARNING<\/span>: Disturbing photos below.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>The infractions among the facilities were wide-ranging. A broad summary provided by PA Family includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Failure &#8220;to have a sanitary environment for storage of human pathology waste\u2026 measuring cup lined with an unsealed red bag was used to collect human pathology waste throughout the day. Further interview confirmed the facility failed to bag, seal, and freeze or package the human pathological waste in formalin and securely store it until it was picked up by the waste hauler.\u201d<\/li>\n<li>A facility using ketamine as a general anesthetic.<\/li>\n<li>Failure to document informed consent for minors<\/li>\n<li>Failure to document abortionist credentialing<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;\u2026no measures in place to prevent cross-contamination between the clinical sink and the area utilized for decontamination and processing of surgical instruments.\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Biohazard bags found in a freezer<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In 2023, lawmakers in the Pennsylvania House <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/pennsylvania-house-bill-protecting-abortionists\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">passed legislation<\/a> that would protect law-breaking abortionists, while Governor Josh Shapiro <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/pennsylvania-governor-cuts-pregnancy-resource-center-funding\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ended long-standing funding<\/a> for the state&#8217;s pregnancy resource centers. The state also <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/pennsylvania-launches-website-abortion\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">launched<\/a> a pro-abortion website that tells women where to get an abortion and how to pay for it \u2014 but fails to mention any of the dangers they may encounter, such as sub-par health standards.<\/p>\n<p>Pennsylvania is the very same state that \u2014 under pro-choice Republican governor Tom Ridge \u2014 <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/abortion-industry-abortionists-gosnell-flourish\/\">allowed abortionist Kermit Gosnell to fly under the radar for decades<\/a> due to a lack of proper inspections or accountability for abortionists. Gosnell was finally caught on unrelated charges \u2014 and the conditions of his Philadelphia &#8220;house of horrors&#8221; shocked authorities, while the abortion-friendly media attempted to keep the public ignorant of Gosnell&#8217;s trial and the evidence exposed there.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_190624\" style=\"width: 578px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-190624\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\" wp-image-190624\" src=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/baby-boy-a-700x524.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"568\" height=\"425\" srcset=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/baby-boy-a-700x524.jpg 700w, https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/baby-boy-a-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/baby-boy-a-768x575.jpg 768w, https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/baby-boy-a-500x374.jpg 500w, https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/baby-boy-a.jpg 800w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 568px) 100vw, 568px\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-190624\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Gosnell killed Baby Boy A after he was born.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Former employees testified that babies were often born alive during abortions in his long-uninspected facility, where cats roamed freely and urinated and defecated on carpets, and jars of severed baby feet lined shelves.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-34162 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/gosnell34.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"275\" height=\"200\" \/><\/p>\n<p>When children accidentally made it out of the womb alive, Gosnell would &#8220;snip&#8221; their spinal cords using surgical scissors, a process witnessed by employees.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-35032\" src=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/babyboywithslit-small.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"275\" height=\"251\" \/><\/p>\n<p>He was eventually convicted of murdering three born-alive infants and of manslaughter in the death of patient Karnamaya Mongar due to an in-clinic drug overdose.<\/p>\n<p>Of course, Gosnell was <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/roe-allowed-criminal-abortionists-business\/\">not alone, and not an outlier<\/a>, as some have claimed.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThese abortion facilities that profit from women\u2019s elective abortions (and are supplemented with millions of tax dollars), continue to fail health inspections \u2013 putting the life safety of women at risk, not to mention their unborn babies,\u201d said Dan Bartkowiak with PA Family Institute.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGov. Shapiro\u2019s administration claims abortion &#8216;remains safe&#8217; in Pennsylvania, but not only is abortion unsafe for the unborn baby being aborted or for women facing complications from their abortion and post-abortion trauma, it\u2019s unsafe for women when half of PA\u2019s abortion facilities are failing health inspections,\u201d added Bartkowiak.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span class=\"s1\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.liveaction.org\/tell-congress-stop-the-doj-from-targeting-pro-life-americans\/?utm_campaign=doj_petition&amp;utm_medium=lan_website\"><b><i>The DOJ put a pro-life grandmother in jail this Christmas for protesting the killing of preborn children.
