The fall of Roe v. Wade<\/em> has ushered in a new era of attempts by abortion proponents to push for widespread access to abortion on demand throughout pregnancy. Laws and constitutional amendments are being drafted by pro-abortion legislators to protect the killers and ignore the victims.<\/p>\n

While legislators in many pro-life states have taken the opportunity presented to them by the Supreme Court in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization<\/em> by enacting laws that protect humans in the womb, legislators in pro-abortion states are working for the opposite. Pro-abortion lawmakers are authoring legislation to amend their state’s constitution to include killing innocent children as a “right.” For years, abortion advocates have wrongly claimed that abortion is a woman’s right. Now that Roe<\/em> is overturned, they are scrambling to create legislation to support that erroneous claim.<\/p>\n

No one has the right to kill. But killing and death<\/em> are what pro-abortion laws and constitutional amendments want more of.<\/p>\n

Christopher was found in a medical waste box outside of a DC abortion facility.<\/p><\/div>\n

Christopher X is a baby boy who was killed late in pregnancy (estimated 28-32 weeks<\/a>) at an abortion facility in Washington, D.C. His body was found in a medical waste bin by pro-life advocates from the Progressive Anti-Abortion Uprising (PAAU). Lauren Handy, director of activism for PAAU, and Terrisa Bukovinac, the organization’s founder and executive director, were two of the activists present that day in March 2022.<\/p>\n

“I think I can speak for both Lauren and I, that this was the most devastating and soul-crushing experience of our lives,” said<\/a> Bukovinac. “Not even years of anti-abortion advocacy could have prepared us for that moment. And it’s a moment that will live on for us for all of time.”<\/p>\n

Physician experts told Live Action News that Christopher and four of the other 115 children found that day appear to have been old enough to survive outside the womb. It raises the question of whether there was potential illegal activity and serious ethical violations surrounding their deaths. Although Washington, D.C. doesn’t restrict or ban late abortions, medical professionals are still required to follow federal laws that restrict the method of abortion used and require life-saving care be provided to any child who survives and is born alive during an abortion.<\/p>\n

Dr. Robin Pierucci, a neonatal specialist, told Live Action News: \u201cI can say with confidence that [four of] these babies died at an age when they were viable, premature people.\u201d She noted that she works in a NICU where she would \u201ccare for little ones this size and age.\u201d<\/p>\n

Laws and amendments that protect abortion access through all nine months of pregnancy are the reasons why babies like Christopher X are killed for convenience.<\/p>\n
