(Pregnancy Help News<\/a>) Sara said she did not know at first that a \u201creversal\u201d pill for chemical abortion was legitimate.<\/p>\n

She was shocked when she left a voicemail with the Abortion Pill Rescue\u00ae Network (APRN) and had a call back in less than an hour from a \u201csuper confident nurse.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sara is one of many moms who have shared their experience with\u00a0Abortion Pill Reversal<\/a>\u00a0for Heartbeat International, which manages the APRN.<\/p>\n

Sara begins her story by saying, \u201cI was young, and I wasn’t in the best situation as far as my daughter’s father goes.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd there were a lot of concerns and worries for that,\u201d she said. \u201cAnd that was the main reason why I ultimately went to the [abortion] clinic that day.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sara then said she immediately felt regret after taking the pill, also known as mifepristone. This regret over having started a chemical abortion also makes her like many other moms. Many women undergo chemical abortion because they feel they have no other options.\u00a0About 150 women call the APRN each month and start Abortion Pill Reversal.<\/p>\n

The chemical abortion pill causes the pregnancy to lose progesterone; its source of keeping the baby secured in the womb. If progesterone is administered after the chemical abortion process is begun, the baby may survive.<\/p>\n

Abortion Pill Reversal<\/a>\u00a0is an updated application of the\u00a0decades-old treatment<\/a>\u00a0using progesterone to prevent miscarriage. Chemical abortion consists of mifepristone, which starves the unborn child of progesterone, and misoprostol, taken a day or so after the first pill, to cause the mom to go into labor and deliver her deceased child.<\/p>\n

If a mom acts soon enough after taking the first chemical abortion drug it may be possible to save her unborn child through Abortion Pill Reversal. To date,\u00a0more than 4,500 lives<\/a>, and counting,\u00a0have been saved<\/a>\u00a0thanks to the APRN.<\/p>\n

Sara\u2019s boyfriend\u2019s mom helped her find the APRN\u00a0website<\/a>. She could hardly believe such an option was available.<\/p>\n
