Update 11\/8\/23:\u00a0<\/strong>A judge today denied a request from Indi’s parents to either bring her home or to allow her to travel to Italy for treatment, despite the fact that the Italian government had granted her emergency citizenship. Instead, Justice Robert Peal has ordered that Indi be taken off life support at 2 p.m. Thursday, local time.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor the hospital and the U.K. Courts to simply ignore the offer from the Italian government is disgraceful,\u201d Indi’s father, Dean Gregory, said<\/a> as reported by Christian Concern.<\/p>\n

\u201cI appeal to the British government to allow Indi to come to Italy before it is too late. As a father, I have never asked or begged for anything in my life, but I am now begging the British government to please help prevent our daughter\u2019s life from being taken away.\u201d<\/p>\n

The family has said they will appeal the decision.<\/p>\n
