Singer John Legend has joined up with Ohioans United for Reproductive Rights to campaign for the amendment to codify abortion into the Ohio constitution.<\/p>\n

In a clip posted on TikTok and Instagram<\/a>, as well as other social media channels, Legend criticized the state’s law protecting preborn children from abortion. \u201cMy fellow Ohioans, our chance to stop the government\u2019s extreme abortion ban is on the ballot in November,\u201d he said. \u201cIssue 1 will get politicians out of personal decisions about abortion. So it\u2019s time for us to vote yes on Issue 1 by November 7th. Early voting starts October 11th, you can vote early now. Let\u2019s stand up for our families and our freedoms.\u201d<\/p>\n
