Polling shows that most Americans<\/span> want restrictions<\/span><\/a> on abortion, including limiting abortion to the first trimester. When South Carolina Rep. Nancy Mace pointed this out during an interview with the hosts of “The View,” cohost Whoopi Goldberg \u2014 who has admitted to personally having multiple abortions \u2014<\/span> showed<\/span><\/a> viewers why there can never be a compromise on the intentional killing of innocent preborn human beings.<\/span><\/p>\n

No compromise<\/b><\/p>\n

During the episode, cohost Alyssa Farah Griffin mentioned the topic of abortion in the realm of politics and the GOP’s position.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mace responded, “We cannot demonize women… We demonize women who don’t want to be in that position to make the choice. They don’t want to be in a position where they have to decide to have an abortion or not. We have to find a balance to show that we’re pro-life, but we are about women… What I have found is that neither side wants to find the middle ground. The left doesn’t want to tell you what their limits are, the right is ‘zero and no exceptions.’ That’s not where the vast majority of Americans are. They want to be compassionate to women and girls. They want exceptions at some point. We have to decide at what point does the baby has rights and right to life \u2014 somewhere in the second trimester.”<\/span><\/p>\n

Goldberg then began asking irrelevant questions of Mace.<\/span><\/p>\n
