Two women \u2014 a retired schoolteacher and freelance writer \u2014 both serve on the Ohio team of Intercessors for America, and are passionate about defending life. Together, they are educating Ohio citizens about the ballot measure.<\/p>\n<p>Retired schoolteacher Kimberly Brown is the current IFA Ohio State Prayer Leader who hosts robust weekly prayer calls in which a team of dedicated intercessors unite in prayer for all issues affecting Ohio. Her team has been laser-focused over many months, interceding for Ohio in its battle to defend life and stay informed about the amendment slated for November\u2019s ballot.<\/p>\n<p>She has kept her team abreast of issues and avenues to make a difference. No male, female, he, she, boy, girl.\u00a0<\/i><\/b><i>This opens the door to men and women,\u00a0boys and girls, altering their reproductive systems according to their \u201crights.\u201d\u00a0<\/i><b><i>\u00a0<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><b><i>2.\u00a0 No age limits\u00a0or\u00a0restrictions is\u00a0stated.\u00a0<\/i><\/b><i>This opens the door that any male or female of any age can make decisions about their body at any point in time.\u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><b><i>3.\u00a0 \u201cThe State shall not\u2026directly or indirectly\u2026burden, penalize, prohibit, interfere with or discriminate against\u2026\u201d an individual person or organization helping a person make these choices and decisions.\u00a0<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><i>If the State cannot intervene, then parents will not be able to intervene.\u00a0 The parents will be viewed as part of \u201cthe State\u201d because they are the \u201clegal guardians&#8221; as defined by law under the State.\u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><i>If this amendment is passed it will become \u201cLaw\u201d under the Ohio Constitution, Article 1, Section 1 BILL OF RIGHTS, but it REMOVES THE RIGHTS OF PARENTS! And it\u00a0\u00a0PROTECTS individuals and organizations that have ulterior motives, giving them RIGHTS to your children. <\/i>[<strong>Author Note<\/strong>: Please refer to Lisa Bast\u2019s video link below, which further illuminates and elaborates upon this, and other broad implications.]<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><b><i>4.\u00a0 \u201cHowever, abortion may be prohibited after fetal viability.\u00a0 But in no case may such an abortion be prohibited if in the professional judgement of the pregnant patient\u2019s treating physician it is necessary to protect the pregnant patient\u2019s life or\u00a0health.\u201d\u00a0<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><i>\u201cAbortion may be prohibited after fetal viability.\u201d\u00a0This statement is there to appease those who are \u201cagainst\u201d abortion. \u201cFetal viability\u201d is further defined in the following paragraph of the amendment.\u00a0 This statement is there to make abortion seem \u201creasonable\u201d and to have \u201climits\u201d.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><i>However, the very next statement NEGATES the first statement:\u00a0\u201cBut in no case may such an abortion be prohibited if in the professional judgement of the pregnant patient\u2019s treating physician it is necessary to protect the pregnant patient\u2019s life or\u00a0<\/i><i>health<\/i><i>.\u201d\u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><b><i>A doctor stated to me: \u2018You can drive a Mack truck through that statement.\u2019<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><i>An individual in the ninth month of pregnancy, due to deliver, can decide the birth of this baby will endanger his\/her mental health, create undue stress and therefore the pregnancy needs to be terminated.\u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><i>In conclusion, this amendment is so loosely and vaguely written that it will open the door to things we are not even able to imagine\u2026 if this amendment is passed it will become &#8216;Law&#8217; under the Ohio Constitution, and will open a door to a level of devastation to Ohio&#8217;s families and children that we have not yet seen or experienced.<\/i><\/p>\n<div style=\"width: 250px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"CToWUd\" src=\"https:\/\/mail.google.com\/mail\/u\/0?ui=2&amp;ik=d0bbe95b47&amp;attid=0.1.5&amp;permmsgid=msg-f:1777120563070036841&amp;th=18a999bc8cd4eb69&amp;view=fimg&amp;fur=ip&amp;sz=s0-l75-ft&amp;attbid=ANGjdJ-wbFlfMAW10Ae2DBa19QFK7e6Hxo0z0eJzLcrjlCXRyaOzsoJYhbnn149xwNARL2TuBhHu31F7GTLAok2QS47DHECNTnyP-VE9exaICdlenyEdz0Z1FbKKpLw&amp;disp=emb\" alt=\"IMG_0783.jpeg\" width=\"240\" height=\"296\" data-image-whitelisted=\"\" data-bit=\"iit\" \/><p class=\"wp-caption-text\">Lisa Bast &#8211; Freelance Writer, Pro-Life Advocate<\/p><\/div>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/author\/lisa-bast\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/author\/lisa-bast\/&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1694886649132000&amp;usg=AOvVaw0CeaeTH1yzWoG4v0bBTFgi\">Freelance writer<\/a> and pro-life advocate Lisa Bast felt compelled to put actions to her prayers.
