Actress Lindsay Lohan is celebrating life as a new mom, and is opening up about how she feels about having carried her son and given birth.<\/p>\n

In an Instagram<\/a> post on Wednesday, Lohan wrote, “I am so proud of what this body was able to accomplish during these months of pregnancy and now, recovery.” She and her husband Bader Shammas recently welcomed their son Luai, which means “shield or protector,” though the exact date of his birth has not been revealed.<\/p>\n

“Having a baby is the greatest joy in the world! My OOTD [outfit of the day] lately is my @fridamom postpartum underwear. Because I’m not a regular mom, I’m a postpartum mom,” she wrote.<\/p>\n
