Now, <a href=\"https:\/\/files.constantcontact.com\/adf2ce19301\/59255362-6408-4c29-be4f-5e7dae28c9e8.pdf?rdr=true\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">records<\/a> obtained by the New Mexico Alliance for Life found that one of the abortion facilities women are being referred to is operated by none other than The Satanic Temple.<\/p>\n<p>In <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/satanic-temple-religious-abortion-facility-samuel-alito\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">February<\/a>, The Satanic Temple announced that it was opening a telemedicine abortion facility in New Mexico, and would name it \u201cThe Samuel Alito\u2019s Mom\u2019s Satanic Abortion Clinic.\u201d It operates under <a href=\"https:\/\/thesatanictemple.com\/blogs\/news\/the-satanic-temple-unveils-tst-health-the-worlds-first-religious-abortion-clinic\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Satanic Temple (TST) Health<\/a>, and is claimed to be the world&#8217;s first-ever &#8220;religious&#8221; abortion facility.<\/p>\n<p>Women who go to TST Health&#8217;s abortion facility will have a consultation, and then their abortion pills will be sent to a pharmacy that partners with TST Health. The pills will then be sent in the mail to the woman in &#8220;discreet&#8221; packaging.<\/p>\n<p>The Satanic Temple adopted abortion as one of its &#8220;rituals,&#8221; which it has frequently &#8212; and unsuccessfully &#8212; attempted to use as a tool to overturn pro-life laws. In the <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/satanic-temple-violate-religious-rite-abortion\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">abortion ritual<\/a>, a woman first must read the Third Tenet \u2014 \u201cOne\u2019s body is inviolable, subject to one\u2019s own will alone\u201d \u2014 in front of a mirror. After taking the abortion pills, the woman must recite the Fifth Tenet \u2014 \u201cBeliefs should conform to one\u2019s best scientific understanding of the world. One should take care never to distort scientific facts to fit one\u2019s beliefs\u201d \u2014 in front of a mirror again. After passing the preborn child\u2019s body, the woman concludes by reciting a personal affirmation: \u201cBy my body, by my blood, by my will it is done.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/gnEHZiud8dg\" width=\"650\" height=\"355\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><span data-mce-type=\"bookmark\" style=\"display: inline-block; width: 0px; overflow: hidden; line-height: 0;\" class=\"mce_SELRES_start\">\ufeff<\/span><\/iframe>\n<\/p>\n<p>When the abortion hotline <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/new-mexico-abortion-hotline-state-nurses\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">was announced<\/a>, Madison Schaeffer, a spokesperson for the New Mexico Department of Health, told local media that registered nurses would help callers find abortion facilities, using taxpayer dollars. \u201cThey\u2019re really experienced in terms of helping New Mexicans, you know, access health resources and doing health assessments over the phone,\u201d she said. \u201cWe can meet somebody\u2019s needs immediately and tell them \u2018We\u2019ve got appointments next week here and we can get you in.&#8217;\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Though New Mexico is one of the most pro-abortion states in the country, the notion of referring women to a satanic abortion facility is still a shocking notion.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhy are taxpayers of New Mexico forced to promote the satanic temple religious abortion center through the pro-abortion governor\u2019s hotline?\u201d Elisa Martinez of the New Mexico Alliance for Life said in an e-mailed press release. &#8220;Is the state of New Mexico fully disclosing to women that &#8216;TST Health&#8217; is a satanic ritualistic abortion center and that abortion is not a life-saving procedure or (not health care), that it involves the ending of an innocent human life?\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Earlier this summer, New Mexico Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham announced that the state would be funding an abortion hotline, offering information to callers on abortion facilities within the state and transportation options for those needing to travel for the procedure.
