Many of \u201cFather of the Sexual Revolution\u201d Alfred Kinsey\u2019s ideas \u2013 that children are sexual from birth, that no sexual act should be excluded from our definition of what is normal and acceptable, that masturbation is healthy, that adult-child sex is only problematic if parents or legal authorities \u201coverreact,\u201d that children are capable of consenting to sex \u2013 are commonplace in modern sex education.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Kinsey believed that \u201cIn non-inhibited societies\u2026 sex perversions\u201d \u2014 including \u201cmouth-genital contacts, anal contacts, the homosexual, group activities, relations between individuals of diverse age, and animal intercourse\u201d \u2014 are typical, and that they would be more widespread in our society \u201cif there were no traditions to the contrary.<\/span>\u201d<\/span><\/i>[1<\/span>]<\/span><\/p>\n

Destroying those \u2018contrary traditions\u2019 was a key part of Kinsey’s hidden agenda.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cSEXUAL FROM BIRTH\u201d<\/b><\/p>\n

As discussed in part three<\/a> of this series, Kinsey believed that humans are sexual from birth. Today, we hear this claim being parroted by countless individuals and organizations in the field of sex education.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This <\/span>document<\/span><\/a> from the U.S. Department of Education\u2019s Educational Resources Information Center, for example, makes the claim that \u201cLike everyone else, students in special education are sexual beings from birth to death.\u201d A \u201cSexuality and Life Skills\u201d <\/span>toolkit<\/span><\/a> for sex educators by Frontline AIDS similarly states that \u201cSexuality is part of being human, from birth to death,\u201d and that \u201cWe are all sexual beings from birth to death[.]\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Sexuality and Family Life Educators, an <\/span>organization<\/span><\/a> which describes itself as \u201cA coalition of folks that work in or are interested in sexual health education and related fields\u201d and which \u201cacts as an education resource for parents, schools and the community,\u201d also states: \u201c[A]ll people are sexual beings from birth to death.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Planned Parenthood, which is responsible for providing or supplementing sex ed in schools across the country, has also made this claim multiple times. On its \u201cEducation and Training\u201d page, Mt. Baker Planned Parenthood states: \u201cAll people are sexual beings from birth to death.\u201d Late last year, <\/span>Bill Taverner<\/span><\/a>, executive director of the Center for Sex Education, which is Planned Parenthood of Northern, Central, and Southern New Jersey\u2019s sex education arm, came under fire for making the same claim, and for advocating that children be taught about pornography.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

But he was only repeating the official position of his parent organization, which stated in its <\/span>pamphlet<\/span><\/a> \u201cFundamentals of Teaching Sexuality,\u201d that \u201cSexuality is a central, complex, and lifelong aspect of being human,\u201d and that \u201cSexuality is a part of life through all the ages and stages. Babies, elders, and everyone in between can experience sexuality.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

ANYTHING GOES<\/b><\/p>\n

The idea that no sexual act is harmful or abnormal was promoted heavily by Kinsey, as has been shown in previous installments in this series. It is also an idea that permeates contemporary sex education.<\/span><\/p>\n

Planned Parenthood recently brought as part of its \u201cresources\u201d to a 9th-grade class in Canada an explicit <\/span>deck of cards<\/span><\/a> which depicted an array of sexually explicit information and activities, including many which most people would likely find offensive \u2013 and if a student reacted with disgust, the \u201ceducator\u201d was directed to tell children, \u201cA lot of people think that\u2019s really hot!\u201d <\/span>Suggested activities included masturbation, being restrained during sex, bisexuality, sex through a hole in the wall with strangers, and group sex. Other cards discussed ingesting fecal matter and made the claim that semen \u2018tastes good.\u2019<\/span><\/p>\n

Planned Parenthood\u2019s \u201cGet Real\u201d sex ed curriculum <\/span>promotes<\/span><\/a> oral sex, anal sex, and homosexual activity as being equivalent to abstinence, since they cannot result in pregnancy. And in 2014, Live Action\u2019s undercover investigation <\/span>SEXED: Planned Parenthood\u2019s Dangerous Sex Advice for Kids<\/span><\/a> exposed the abortion corporation advising children to visit sex shops, consume porn, try BDSM \u2013 and hide it all from their parents.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Planned Parenthood-affiliated group <\/span>Advocates for Youth<\/span><\/a> (AFY) is responsible for the sex education programs in over 100 school districts across the nation, reaching over 2.5 million American children. Their animated video-based sex ed websites, AMAZE and AMAZE Jr., <\/span>promote and encourage<\/span><\/a> sexual activities of all kinds for children as young as four years old, including sexual activities with adults, the use of pornography, and masturbation \u2013 which it claims is normal and cannot be done too frequently.<\/span><\/p>\n

Masturbation is indeed being widely promoted in sex ed. <\/span>Standards for Sexuality Education in Europe<\/span><\/a> advises that children be taught about masturbation beginning at birth<\/em>. A Planned Parenthood-sponsored <\/span>group<\/span><\/a> targeting children as young as 12 recently promoted the month of May as \u201cNational Masturbation Month,\u201d and advised children that masturbation is normal and beneficial.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Ottawa County Department of Public Health in Michigan recently received criticism for promoting a sex guide which <\/span>advised<\/span><\/a> parents to \u201creinforce that masturbation is natural and healthy\u201d to their children beginning at age 9.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

A <\/span>school<\/span><\/a> in British Columbia gave a homework assignment to kindergarteners last year which advised kids to come up with \u201cprivate places\u201d in their homes where they could engage in masturbation. And California\u2019s sex ed <\/span>curriculum<\/span><\/a> advises teachers to discuss masturbation with middle-schoolers.<\/span><\/p>\n

THE \u201cCONSENT\u201d CON<\/b><\/p>\n

The idea that children can consent to sex is deeply embedded in Kinsey\u2019s so-called \u2018research,\u2019 as was evidenced in part three<\/a> of this series. Children and teens, however, <\/span>lack<\/span><\/a> the <\/span>brain development<\/span><\/a> required for objective, high-level reasoning, and are therefore not <\/span>biologically<\/span><\/a> or <\/span>legally<\/span><\/a> capable of consenting to sex.<\/span><\/p>\n

This hasn\u2019t stopped sex educators from promoting the idea that kids <\/span>can<\/span><\/i> consent, however. <\/span><\/p>\n

On its \u201cHow Planned Parenthood Teaches Sex Education\u201d <\/span>web page<\/span><\/a>, the abortion corporation states that \u201cconsent\u201d is a key focus of its programs. The previously-mentioned AFY sex ed <\/span>curriculum<\/span><\/a>, too, emphasizes consent. AFY\u2019s AMAZE animated sex-ed website directly <\/span>encourages<\/span><\/a> sex to kids, provided that \u201cboth [people] consent and there is good communication about protection.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n

It overtly states that children are capable of giving consent, and even capable of consenting to sex with adults<\/em>\u00a0 \u2014 the video \u201c<\/span>Understanding Sexual Consent and the Law<\/span><\/a>,\u201d states that if a minor has sex with an adult, the adult could be charged with statutory rape, \u201ceven if the younger person consented to sexual contact.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

CONCLUSION<\/b><\/p>\n

According to biographer Jones, Kinsey \u201cspent his every waking hour attempting to change the sexual mores\u201d of the United States, and, one might argue, the world as a whole.[<\/span>2]<\/span> He \u201cplaced his hopes on sex education\u201d as a means of achieving this goal.[<\/span>3]<\/span> Observing the current state of sex ed in this country and beyond, one might well conclude that Kinsey\u2019s vision is being fully implemented.<\/span><\/p>\n

This is despite the fact that Kinsey\u2019s research can hardly be deemed truly scientific. Replication \u2013 a cornerstone of the scientific method \u2013 has never even been attempted with regard to Kinsey\u2019s work, and, given the child abuse at the foundation of his so-called \u2018research,\u2019 we should earnestly hope that such an endeavor is never undertaken.<\/span><\/p>\n

The whole of Kinsey\u2019s work in the field of sexual behavior is, in fact, a house built on sand \u2013 it lacks a solid foundation in fact, and is structurally designed for the sole purpose of promoting a lewd and decadent agenda. Judging by the current state of education and our culture, it appears his agenda may very well triumph.<\/span><\/p>\n
