In April, a couple made a horrific discovery<\/a> in Flint, Michigan, that they say has left them traumatized. While out for a walk, they found a deceased baby boy, estimated to be about 20 to 23 weeks gestation, lying on the sidewalk.<\/p>\n

On April 18, Daniel Foster and his wife were walking at about 11 p.m., as they often did, when they came across the lifeless baby on the sidewalk near a McDonald’s and a child care center.<\/p>\n

“Me and my wife were walking back from up here and she started freaking out,” Foster said. “And I asked her, what are you freaking out for? And then that’s when she showed me the baby. And then I said it’s just a bird and she said no it’s a human baby.”<\/p>\n

He added, “There’s no words or expression to explain that other than being traumatized from it.”<\/p>\n

The couple called 911, according to ABC 12 News<\/a>, and the Flint Police Department began an investigation. The next day, they located the baby’s mother, a 26-year-old, whom they questioned after she underwent medical treatment. Her reaction is haunting, heartbreaking, and indicative of the culture that a pro-abortion society has created.<\/p>\n

“She was walking down the sidewalk, she was in pain and thought she was having a miscarriage,” Flint Police Chief Terence Green said. “And while she was walking down the sidewalk, that’s when she gave birth to the fetus, removed it from her pants and tossed it aside. That’s her statement.”<\/p>\n

He added, “The grandmother made the statement that, and I quote, ‘She didn’t understand what the big deal was. People throw trash and needles on the sidewalk all the time.'”<\/p>\n

After 31 years in law enforcement, Green said he has never seen anything like it and that his officers became emotional over the child and the situation.<\/p>\n

“I would describe it as shocking, horrifying \u2014 and it upset and angered me,” he said.<\/p>\n
