Wade<\/em>, with many going so far as to <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/companies-paying-abortion\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">pay for employee abortions<\/span><\/a> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">or <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/citigroup-plan-pay-employees-abortion-travel\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">abortion-related travel expenses<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, one business is going in the opposite direction. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Michael Seifert, CEO and founder of <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/publicsq.com\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">PublicSq<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (pronounced &#8220;Public Square&#8221;), recently <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.catholicnewsagency.com\/news\/254604\/company-announces-baby-bonus-for-employees-expecting-or-adopting-a-child\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">announced<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> a new company policy offering employees a $5,000 bonus for the birth of a new baby or an adoption.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.liveaction.org\/target-petition\/?utm_source=lan&amp;utm_medium=display&amp;utm_campaign=lan_website&amp;utm_content=target_petition\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-292702\" src=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/LA23MAY_TargetPetition_resized-700x180.jpg\" alt=\"Target petition\" width=\"700\" height=\"180\" srcset=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/LA23MAY_TargetPetition_resized-700x180.jpg 700w, https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/LA23MAY_TargetPetition_resized-300x77.jpg 300w, https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/LA23MAY_TargetPetition_resized-768x198.jpg 768w, https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/LA23MAY_TargetPetition_resized-500x129.jpg 500w, https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/LA23MAY_TargetPetition_resized.jpg 1200w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">PublicSq is \u201c<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">a network of patriotic small businesses that allows [job-seekers] to find high-quality alternatives to woke corporations,\u201d according to a <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/realmichaelseif\/status\/1669075997155524608?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1669075997155524608%7Ctwgr%5E20c04f1e38a88cf1875bc9944bd5cdf1e5fbd205%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&amp;ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fthepostmillennial.com%2Fpublicsq-offers-baby-bonus-for-employees-pushes-back-against-pro-abortion-ethos-of-corporate-america\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">tweet <\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">by Seifert. He <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?time_continue=51&amp;v=l0W5Nbapg1o&amp;embeds_referring_euri=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.bing.com%2F&amp;embeds_referring_origin=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.bing.com&amp;source_ve_path=Mjg2NjIsMzY4NDIsMzY4NDIsMjg2NjY&amp;feature=emb_logo\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">previously described<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> the company\u2019s main product offerings, saying \u201cPublicSq is an app and website that connects freedom-loving Americans to their local communities, reliable information, and the businesses that share their values.\u201d The company launched in California in 2021 and nationwide in 2022.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Seifert told <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/video\/6329683788112\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Fox and Friends Weekend<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> about PublicSq\u2019s decision to monetarily promote the growth of employee families:<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We did see the world going in this direction that we believe is anti-family. We think that, ultimately, a company is only as strong as the families that built it. And then for us, we\u2019re a pro-family company, and we\u2019re not ashamed about that. And this would be $5000 after-tax. They can use it as they please, just to thank them for being a great team member and empowering them to continue to grow.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Seifert called out the disingenuous approach of companies who fund abortions out of a professed desire to champion \u201cwomen\u2019s healthcare.\u201d Their supposed commitment to women\u2019s healthcare is frequently belied by an <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/pregnant-employees-punished-life\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">unwillingness<\/span><\/a> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">to give equal financial support to female employees who <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/panda-express-employee-abortion-harassed\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">choose to parent<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Live Action previously<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/pro-choice-bosses-live-action-releases-new-satire-video\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">called out<\/span><\/a> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">the blatant prioritization of profits over people, especially preborn people, in a satire video:<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Zp3LgoCyZes\" width=\"640\" height=\"355\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><span data-mce-type=\"bookmark\" style=\"display: inline-block; width: 0px; overflow: hidden; line-height: 0;\" class=\"mce_SELRES_start\">\ufeff<\/span><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Seifert commented to Fox and Friends, \u201cThese companies will pretend to care about \u2018women\u2019s healthcare,\u2019 but at the end of the day they just don\u2019t want to pay maternity leaves. They are more afraid of losing the monetary value that their employees provide, so they would rather choose [to fund abortions] than they would to empower the growth of these families. And I think that\u2019s really destructive.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/tRzxQEYvX3A\" width=\"640\" height=\"355\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><span data-mce-type=\"bookmark\" style=\"display: inline-block; width: 0px; overflow: hidden; line-height: 0;\" class=\"mce_SELRES_start\">\ufeff<\/span><\/iframe>\n<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Seifert contrasted this culture of corporate antipathy towards family growth with PublicSq\u2019s approach, saying \u201cI actually want more of our employees\u2019 family members because I think that they\u2019re great people and we want their communities to thrive. And we believe that ultimately strong families build a strong nation.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the last month alone, three PublicSq employees have announced their pregnancies and intent to take advantage of the bonus. Seifert specified that bonuses are paid out after the birth of a child <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">or <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">at the outset of the adoption process in order to cover the \u201cexorbitant\u201d fees often associated with adopting. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Seifert<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailysignal.com\/2023\/06\/16\/conservative-ceo-will-give-baby-bonus-employees-help-build-strong-families\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">told<\/span><\/a> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Daily Signal that the bonus applies per child, so a family welcoming twins would receive $10,000.
