The <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/dom_lucre\/status\/1666918185004593152\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">image<\/a> was shared by Dom Lucre on Twitter, who wrote, &#8220;Dear Leonardo DiCaprio, you have been selected to be exposed.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Under the image, it states, &#8220;DiCaprio is seen holding a &#8216;pickled punk&#8217;, a malformed fetus named Junior preserved in a jar belonging to artist Joe Coleman. Coleman bought Junior from a Carney and keeps him in his &#8216;Odditorium&#8217; along with other bizarre artifacts and art pieces.&#8221;<\/p>\n<div class=\"video-container\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Dear Leonardo DiCaprio, you have been selected to be exposed. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/DrVgfYKBUf\">pic.twitter.com\/DrVgfYKBUf<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Dom Lucre | Breaker of Narratives (@dom_lucre) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/dom_lucre\/status\/1666918185004593152?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">June 8, 2023<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/div>\n<p>&#8220;Junior&#8221; was allegedly &#8220;adopted&#8221; by Coleman during the 1980s when he went to Coney Island and saw what carnival workers refer to as a &#8220;pickled punk&#8221; \u2014 a baby in a jar.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;And of course I fell in love with him as soon as I saw him,&#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/joecoleman.com\/bio\/interview\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">said<\/a> Coleman, &#8220;and I paid the man exactly whatever he wanted and I took little Junior home on the subway \u2014 of course, we got a lot of stares \u2014 and Junior has had an honored place ever since. He is like my alter ego, he&#8217;s my son. It&#8217;s funny because he represents a more positive or optimistic side of my personality. That deformed little guy there \u2014 he&#8217;s so happy.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vice.com\/en\/article\/jmajky\/babies-in-jars-death-masks-and-ponytails-my-induction-to-the-odditorium-813\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Vice<\/a>, &#8220;There&#8217;s a small chance Junior is actually a &#8216;bouncer,&#8217; as the wax or gutta-percha re-creations (created to avoid the law against moving bodies between states) were called.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>While it is unclear if &#8220;Junior&#8221; is a real human being, if he indeed is, then the treatment he has been given is tragic.<\/p>\n<p>Every human being deserves to be treated with dignity, not as a sideshow attraction or party conversation piece, but as a human being with intrinsic value. Prior to the passage of the Americans With Disabilities Act, people with disabilities struggled to find work due to social stigmas. As a result, they often turned to sideshows in places like Coney Island, where they were treated unethically as subhuman.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.liveaction.org\/target-petition\/?utm_source=lan&amp;utm_medium=display&amp;utm_campaign=lan_website&amp;utm_content=target_petition\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-292702\" src=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/LA23MAY_TargetPetition_resized-700x180.jpg\" alt=\"Target petition\" width=\"700\" height=\"180\" srcset=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/LA23MAY_TargetPetition_resized-700x180.jpg 700w, https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/LA23MAY_TargetPetition_resized-300x77.jpg 300w, https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/LA23MAY_TargetPetition_resized-768x198.jpg 768w, https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/LA23MAY_TargetPetition_resized-500x129.jpg 500w, https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/LA23MAY_TargetPetition_resized.jpg 1200w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Up until the 1940s and especially during its Victorian heyday, the sideshow \u2014 or &#8216;freak show&#8217; \u2014 was one of the only sources of gainful employment available to people like me who had unusual or extreme physical or cognitive disabilities,&#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thestrikewave.com\/original-content\/before-the-ada-was-the-freak-show\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">explained<\/a> Kim Kelly, known also as Greta the Lobster Girl. &#8220;Some were able to hold down &#8216;normal&#8217; jobs, but for many, the only other options were to rely on charity, to live in poverty, or institutionalization.&#8221; The &#8220;best option&#8221; for some people, she said, was to join &#8220;the freak show.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Kelly, who has ectrodactyly, added, &#8220;It has taken us a long time to be recognized as human at all.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>It appears &#8220;Junior&#8221; may have been a victim of this cruel treatment as well. And though he seems to have died before he was put into the carnival circuit, he still deserves respect, as does his body.<\/p>\n<p>The same is true of aborted children, who are not only killed inhumanely, but disposed of in inhumane ways \u2014 including being carted off with <a href=\"https:\/\/paaunow.org\/justiceforthefive\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">medical waste<\/a> and in some cases even bizarrely burned for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/news\/us-news\/fetal-tissue-used-generate-electricity-oregon-n88716\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">energy<\/a>. Some aborted children are placed in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.priestsforlife.org\/graphic-images\/index.aspx?gid=6&amp;sid=17\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">dumpsters<\/a>, others are <a href=\"https:\/\/studentsforlife.org\/2023\/01\/16\/if-you-shouldnt-flush-fish-you-definitely-shouldnt-flush-babies\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">flushed<\/a> down toilets, some have been <a href=\"https:\/\/abcnews.go.com\/TheLaw\/aborted-fetuses-jars-philadelphia-doctors-office\/story?id=9932883\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">kept<\/a> in jars like &#8220;Junior,&#8221; and others have been found in the <a href=\"https:\/\/studentsforlife.org\/2023\/01\/16\/if-you-shouldnt-flush-fish-you-definitely-shouldnt-flush-babies\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">garage<\/a> of an abortionist. As the use of the abortion pill versus surgical abortion procedures continues to rise due to at-home abortions, more bodies will be <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/women-describe-preborn-child-abortion-pills\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">flushed<\/a> \u2014 treated like human waste.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/CvmZU_wfRaQ\" width=\"640\" height=\"355\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><span data-mce-type=\"bookmark\" style=\"display: inline-block; width: 0px; overflow: hidden; line-height: 0;\" class=\"mce_SELRES_start\">\ufeff<\/span><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Junior&#8221; isn&#8217;t a &#8220;side of [Coleman&#8217;s] personality.&#8221; He was his own unique person.
