A group of four sisters from Scotland are all expecting babies<\/a> within a few months of each other, making for one very sweet summer for the family.<\/p>\n

Jay Goodwillie, a 35-year-old mom of one, and 29-year-old Kayleigh Stewart, expecting her first baby, are both due in May. Kerry-Anne Tomson, a 41-year-old mom of one, is due in October, while 24-year-old mom of one Amy Goodwillie is due in August. The number<\/a> of babies in the family is now set to double, from four to eight.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m still quite shocked,\u201d Kayleigh said, according to The Epoch Times. \u201cThere will be another four kids this year\u2014it\u2019s doubling… all the babies will have cousins the same age.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kayleigh and Jay were the first to find out they were pregnant and shared the news at the same time. \u201cJay had been trying, we were on Facetime and she said \u2018I\u2019ve got something to tell you. I said \u2018No chance, me too,'” Kayleigh recalled, saying they planned matching t-shirts. \u201cThey thought I was wearing a t-shirt for Jay.” Both are expecting boys.<\/p>\n

Several months later, Amy and Kerry-Anne found out they were expecting as well. It’s an exciting moment for a family which has always been close, sharing a house together in the past, and living close to one another now still. \u201cWe would always steal each other\u2019s clothes and make-up,\u201d Kayleigh said, adding that having babies together is even more exciting. \u201cI\u2019m really looking forward to meeting the wee guy to see what he looks like. Only four weeks and I can lie on my belly again.\u201d<\/p>\n

“I’m sure they will be great friends,” Kerry-Anne added of their babies.<\/p>\n

And the growth of their family together is something they realize is very special. \u201cIt is statistically really unlikely to be pregnant at the same time. It\u2019s really weird how the body works,\u201d Kayleigh said, adding, \u201cIt\u2019s like Russian dolls.”<\/p>\n
