She visited Planned Parenthood, where she was given the abortion pill and was told it was going to be an &#8220;easy&#8221; process. The staff said she &#8220;wouldn&#8217;t see anything&#8221; \u2014 meaning her baby&#8217;s body. But she soon learned these were lies.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;They didn&#8217;t ever use the word baby,&#8221; she explained. &#8220;They always just said &#8216;it&#8217; or &#8217;tissue&#8217; or &#8216;the process.&#8217; They never said anything about the level of development. They did tell me it would be too small to see anything.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>However, she explained, &#8220;The pill was not <em>at all<\/em> what Planned Parenthood told me it would be.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><center><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/yOSvFjsrLOQ\" width=\"640\" height=\"355\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/center>Planned Parenthood staff had told Christina that taking the abortion pill would feel like having a &#8220;heavy period.&#8221; But instead of the usual symptoms of a period, she said she felt horrible pain.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It felt like hell,&#8221; she explained. &#8220;It was worse than labor with my son.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Christina explained that she gave birth to her dead baby on the toilet within two hours of taking the second set of pills \u2014 misoprostol, a drug that causes contractions that expel the baby. The first drug of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.abortionprocedures.com\/abortion-pill\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">abortion pill regimen<\/a> (mifepristone) blocks the naturally occurring pregnancy hormone progesterone. This deprives the growing child of nutrients, with the intent to kill him.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/gnEHZiud8dg\" width=\"640\" height=\"355\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><span data-mce-type=\"bookmark\" style=\"display: inline-block; width: 0px; overflow: hidden; line-height: 0;\" class=\"mce_SELRES_start\">\ufeff<\/span><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;When I turned around, there it was in the sac and everything.&#8221; said Christina. &#8220;I broke open the sac and held the helpless little baby in my hand. I cried and felt like I had just murdered someone so innocent. I regretted it 100% after that night.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Christina made it clear, &#8220;Nothing can truly prepare you for an abortion, no matter what route you take.&#8221; And she warns that she is still struggling with having had an abortion and has nightmares about it all the time. She often wonders \u2014 what if she hadn&#8217;t had the abortion?
