Operation Rescue recently reported<\/a> that a 30-year-old woman was left bleeding profusely at a Chicago-area abortion facility for five hours before staffers finally called 911.<\/p>\n

Per the 911 call, the woman, who was pregnant with her ninth child, was undergoing an abortion at American Women’s Medical Center in Des Plaines, Illinois in October of 2022. “She completed the surgery but she kept hemorrhaging, so we’re gonna send to the hospital,” the caller said. When asked if the woman had any medical issues, the caller informed the dispatcher that it was the woman’s ninth pregnancy; the caller did not disclose if those pregnancies resulted in live births or abortions.<\/p>\n

The phone call took place at approximately 3:00 p.m., but when asked, the caller said the abortion took place at 10:00 in the morning. To make matters worse, according to the computer-aided dispatch transcript<\/a>, the first ambulance sent to take the woman to the hospital experienced mechanical failure. Another ambulance then had to be sent in its place.<\/p>\n
