Three pro-life bills have been passed in Kansas, after the state House of Representatives voted to override the governor’s vetoes.<\/p>\n

Governor Laura Kelly vetoed House Bill 2313<\/a>, House Bill 2325<\/a>, and House Bill 2264<\/a>. These bills, respectively, require medical care for abortion survivors, ban abortionists from buying liability insurance from a state fund, and require abortionists to give women information on abortion pill reversal.<\/p>\n

Jeanne Gawdun of Kansans for Life told ABC News<\/a> that lawmakers \u201cstood together for compassion and basic human decency.\u201d<\/p>\n

Rep. Clarke Sanders said that the bill on abortion pill reversal is an issue of informed consent. \u201cWhat I hear over and over and over and over from those of us who are not pro life, I hear, \u2018Trust women. Trust women,\u2019\u201d he told the Kansas Reflector<\/a>. \u201cDo you really believe that? If you really believe \u2018trust women,\u2019 you\u2019re going to vote to override this veto. Women have a right to know this. They can make a decision about whether or not they want to try to change the decision they made initially about having a chemical abortion.\u201d<\/p>\n
