This is a no-brainer.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 25px;\"><em><strong>Carina:<\/strong> Okay.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 25px;\"><em><strong>Miranda:<\/strong> So that&#8217;s a no. Ben will understand. We need to be open longer hours, okay? And it&#8217;s not me asking. It&#8217;s the women who need us asking. The women who drive long hours from abortion-hostile states that need us to open our doors when they arrive.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 25px;\"><em><strong>Carina:<\/strong> That is so manipulative.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 25px;\"><em><strong>Miranda:<\/strong> These are facts.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"MRC TV video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mrctv.org\/embed\/578813\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>On Station 19, abortion has been promoted several times, with two characters <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsbusters.org\/blogs\/culture\/dawn-slusher\/2022\/10\/22\/abcs-station-19-characters-giggle-and-bond-over-abortion\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">giggling<\/a> over a prior abortion, and DeLuca <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsbusters.org\/blogs\/culture\/dawn-slusher\/2022\/10\/14\/abcs-station-19-womens-bodies-are-being-held-hostage\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">wearing black scrubs<\/a> in &#8220;protest&#8221; of women&#8217;s bodies being &#8220;held hostage&#8221; by the government.<\/p>\n<p>Recently, on Grey&#8217;s Anatomy, a character was given an abortion <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/greys-anatomy-abortion-depression\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">for depression<\/a>, instead of being offered actual treatment for her mental illness. Afterwards, the doctors congratulated themselves on saving the woman&#8217;s life. Another of Rhimes&#8217; shows, &#8220;Scandal,&#8221; notoriously featured an <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/scandal-promotes-planned-parenthood-sets-abortion-scene-to-silent-night\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">abortion taking place at Christmas<\/a>, while the song &#8220;Silent Night&#8221; played.<\/p>\n<p>After the leaked draft ruling for <em>Dobbs v. Jackson Women&#8217;s Health Organization<\/em>, the Grey&#8217;s Anatomy cast responded with a <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/greys-anatomy-abortion-birth-control\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">PSA<\/a> telling women to get abortions while they still could.<\/p>\n<p><em>Editor&#8217;s Note, 3\/29\/23: This article has corrected the spelling of Rhimes&#8217; name.
