Some players have very new, very tiny additions to their families.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tom Pelisero of NFL Network tweeted early Sunday that Nick Allegretti, the team\u2019s offensive guard, and his wife Christina were new parents to twin girls, born early in the morning before the big game. While he wasn\u2019t able to be with his wife in Chicago personally, he facetimed Christina during the birth from the Chiefs\u2019 Arizona hotel.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"video-container\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">There\u2019s already one winner on Super Bowl Sunday: <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/Chiefs?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#Chiefs<\/a> guard Nick Allegretti\u2019s wife, Christina, delivered healthy twin girls at 3:30 a.m. today in Chicago. Nick and his parents FaceTimed live from the hotel lobby with Christina and her family. I became a dad, father of two daughters,&#8221; the 26-year-old Chiefs guard said, according to <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/abcnews.go.com\/GMA\/Family\/kansas-city-chiefs-players-babies-after-super-bowl\/story?id=97079433\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Good Morning America<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. &#8220;Unbelievable&#8230; and now, I&#8217;ve got a ring for both of them. Incredible, cannot believe it.&#8221;\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Although Allegretti and the Chiefs won the Super Bowl in 2021, his parents joked that he was going to need the second win. Speaking to <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/chicago\/news\/illini-alum-nick-allegretti-chiefs-parents\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">CBS Chicago<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> a few weeks before the big game, Carl Allegretti joked, \u201cDon&#8217;t we need two rings for his girls? There we go! That&#8217;s going to make Grandma real happy when the twins come. So that&#8217;s why we&#8217;ve got to get this ring, so each of his daughters have a ring.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Allegretti wasn\u2019t alone in growing his family by a few tiny feet. Teammate Mecole Hardman Jr. <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/MecoleHardman4\/status\/1624720138095460352?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1624720138095460352%7Ctwgr%5Eb3c2757a245f968faee1d3b6aed8b11eab6424b3%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&amp;ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.cbsnews.com%2Fnews%2Fsuper-bowl-babies-chiefs-nick-allegretti-twins-mecole-hardman-jr-baby-rihanna-pregnancy%2F\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">tweeted<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> that his pregnant girlfriend Chariah Gordeon\u2019s water broke right around the same time as Allegretti\u2019s twins were being born. Hardman was unable to play in the big game on Sunday due to an injured pelvis. But although he was unable to play, he was able to be with Chariah while their son was being born. He live-tweeted through the game, and ended <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/MecoleHardman4\/status\/1625076716954849282\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">jubilantly<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> with, \u201cHe\u2019s HERE!!!!!!\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"video-container\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">He\u2019s HERE !!!!!! ???<\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Mecole Hardman Jr. (@MecoleHardman4) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/MecoleHardman4\/status\/1625076716954849282?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">February 13, 2023<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">And the babies just keep on coming, as new babies are soon to be born on the Eagles\u2019 side as well. Center Jason Kelce\u2019s wife, at 38 weeks pregnant with their third child, was concerned enough to bring two OB-GYNs to the game. And while the focus would be more on catching footballs than catching babies, they had a contingency plan in place in case anything went awry.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201dI know they [the OB-GYNs] can&#8217;t, like, practice medicine in the hospital that&#8217;s out in Arizona,\u201d she told <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/sports\/who-is-kylie-kelce-jason-kelce-wife\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">People magazine<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, \u201cbut they&#8217;ll be my support person because Jason is of absolutely no use to me in Arizona at any time, even before game time\u2026 So in the event of an emergency exit, the OBs will go with me. The girls, our daughters, will stay with my mom and dad.
