Maison DesChamps, better known as the “Pro-Life Spiderman,” has been arrested again, this time in Phoenix, after a climb designed to draw attention to moms in need.<\/p>\n

With the Super Bowl set to be played in Phoenix this weekend, DesChamps scaled<\/a> the tallest tower in the city, formerly known as the Chase Tower, using a three-foot-wide external ventilation shaft. Police were quickly called to the scene and waited for DesChamps both at the top and bottom of the tower.<\/p>\n

The climb took roughly one hour. Upon cresting the top, the Phoenix Fire Department told ABC15<\/a> that DesChamps “stated he was a professional climber and his intention was to make it to the top of the building.” He now faces charges of trespassing and criminal nuisance.<\/p>\n

“This is not the place or the time to do this,” Phoenix Fire Department Captain Todd Keller told 12News<\/a>. “This is extremely dangerous. This a stupid, stupid move. This is so dangerous. You put not only yourself in danger, you put the firefighters in danger. You put anybody else, walking below, or anybody walking around this incident, in danger.”<\/p>\n

Let Them Live, a pro-life organization that works to relieve the financial burdens of abortion-minded women, raised money<\/a> as DesChamps climbed. Tim Clement, who knows DesChamps, said this was DesChamps’ entire reason for climbing the tower.<\/p>\n

\u201cTo actually protest the abortion industry, and bring awareness to the pro-life movement,\u201d Clement explained.<\/p>\n

DesChamps has been arrested<\/a>\u00a0before, each time climbing to raise funds for Let Them Live and the women and families they financially support. DesChamps regularly travels the country, free-climbing skyscrapers to hang pro-life banners and bring attention to the pro-life movement. In this instance, DesChamps seemed to be raising money specifically for a mother named Hope.<\/p>\n

When asked by an ABC7 reporter<\/a>\u00a0if he regretted his actions, his answer was simple. “No… it was fun,” he said. “I’d do it again.”<\/p>\n
