Will you join us in this life-saving work as a monthly donor today?<\/i><\/b><\/a><\/p>\n<p><center><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/wWcd4nXB0qQ\" width=\"640\" height=\"355\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/center>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In the first call, the patient was identified as a 42-year-old woman with serious bleeding, and the staffer requested transport to Barnes-Jewish Hospital just across the border in St. Louis, Missouri. Oddly, after the 911 dispatcher answered the phone, the Hope Clinic staffer said nothing about the emergency at first until the dispatcher was forced to repeat himself, sounding irritated at the delay. No details about what caused the emergency were given, other than the staffer saying the patient needed a &#8220;high level of care.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>In the computer-aided dispatch (CAD) <a href=\"https:\/\/abortiondocs.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/CAD11-8-22-HCW.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">transcript<\/a>, the emergency was noted as being &#8220;high priority.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>During the second call, the staffer was heard laughing before the dispatcher answered. In this call as in the first, the staffer simply noted that the patient needed a &#8220;higher level of care,&#8221; without giving any real information about why the woman needed to be taken to the hospital. Again, the CAD <a href=\"https:\/\/abortiondocs.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/CAD11-9-22-HCW.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">transcript<\/a> said the emergency was a high priority.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBy her laughter, this so-called nurse gives a clue to the degree of concern this facility\u2019s staff had for this suffering woman who was possibly in a life-threatening situation \u2013 or any woman who enters the doors of this hopeless facility for that matter,\u201d said Troy Newman, president of Operation Rescue. \u201cThis is a dangerous, callous, late-term abortion facility where well-developed babies are killed, and the well-being of their mothers are, likewise, disregarded in the process.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The Hope Clinic for Women has a <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/illinois-abortion-facility-injures-woman\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">history<\/a> of injuring women; Operation Rescue has documented 15 cases of emergencies there since 2020 \u2014 and these are just the injuries that the pro-life movement knows about due to the presence of sidewalk counselors outside. The facility was recently purchased by <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/five-decades-roe-abortionists-ostracized-medical-community\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Julie Burkhart<\/a>, an abortionist who previously worked alongside George Tiller, the late-term Kansas abortionist murdered in 2009.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/pledge.liveaction.org\/?utm_source=lan&amp;utm_medium=email&amp;utm_campaign=prolife_pledge\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-277267\" src=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/pledge-live-action-ad-970x250-700x180.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"700\" height=\"180\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Hope Clinic for Women in Granite City, Illinois, injured two women within two days \u2014 and in the second 911 call, the staffer can be heard laughing, despite the danger posed to one of the abortion clients.
