A recent <\/span>TikTok<\/span><\/a> from <\/span>Secular Pro-Life<\/span><\/a> has called out the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) for its ongoing efforts to try and change the abortion debate by <\/span>policing language<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Published in March of this year, the <\/span>ACOG Guide to Language and Abortion<\/span><\/a> purports to be a neutral and professional resource for OB-GYNs in choosing the exact words to guide patients. According to ACOG, certain commonly used terms regarding abortion are either biased or \u201cat the very least, […] not medically appropriate,\u201d so people should use the language in the guide, which is \u201cmedically appropriate, clinically accurate, and without bias.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Yet even a quick glance at the guide reveals it to be just another attempt to promote abortion under the guise of medical expertise and neutrality.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
