The abortion industry has been closing facilities<\/a> across the nation, in part due to difficulty retaining and recruiting staff. Planned Parenthood Northern New England spokesperson Eileen Sullivan told a media outlet that the abortion corporation is facing challenges that are \u201ccomplex and often linked to one another, including difficulty recruiting and retaining staff, low patient volume, facility needs, and financial sustainability.\u201d Committing abortions (killing undelivered babies) is a job that has led to\u00a0nightmares and breakdowns<\/a>\u00a0\u2014 and many OB\/GYNs choose not to participate. Others who once made a career out of killing preborn children later experienced a change of heart and shared their experiences to help end abortion for good.<\/p>\n

Dr. Bernard Nathanson<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The late Dr. Bernard Nathanson could be considered<\/a> one of the fathers of legalized abortion. He co-founded the pro-abortion group NARAL and worked to help legalize abortion in the U.S. Years after pushing abortion on the women’s rights movement and carrying out tens of thousands of abortions, he became pro-life.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am personally responsible for over 75,000 abortions,” he said. “This was the greatest mistake of my life,\u201d he continued, \u201cand legal abortion was the greatest mistake this nation ever conceived.\u201d Nathanson had even carried out an abortion on his own child.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat is it like to terminate the life of your own child? I have aborted the unborn children of my friends, my colleagues, casual acquaintances, even my teachers,” he said. “There was never a shred of self-doubt, never a wavering of the supreme self-confidence that I was doing a major service to those who sought me out. I swear to you that I had no feelings aside from the sense of accomplishment, the pride of expertise.\u201d<\/p>\n

Then, soon after Roe<\/em> was decided,\u00a0the image of a child on the ultrasound screen left an impression<\/a> on him. The baby was trying to get away from the abortion tools. Seeing that baby changed everything and Nathanson became pro-life.<\/p>\n

\u201cA favorite pro-abortion tactic is to insist that the definition of when life begins is impossible; that the question is a theological or moral or philosophical one, anything but a scientific one,\u201d he wrote in\u00a0The Hand of God<\/em>. \u201cFetology makes it undeniably evident that life begins at conception and requires all the protection and safeguards that any of us enjoy.\u201d<\/p>\n

Dr. Anthony Levatino<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Dr. Anthony Levatino committed approximately 1,200 abortions before experiencing a pro-life conversion. He had a private practice in New York and he and his partner were the only local doctors committing abortions. Then two personal events began to change him.<\/p>\n
