Jackson Women\u2019s Health Organization<\/em>,\u00a0which overturned <em>Roe v. Wade<\/em> and <em>Planned Parenthood v. Casey<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Below is a state-by-state breakdown of what Live Action News has learned, and this list may be updated as needed.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Alabama<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Robin Marty, operations director for West Alabama Women&#8217;s Center, reported on <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/robinmarty\/status\/1540344773457989635\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Twitter<\/a>\u00a0that due to the Supreme Court decision the abortion facility was sending its currently booked abortion clients out of state.<\/p>\n<p>Marty also <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/robinmarty\/status\/1540363379692519425\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">tweeted<\/a>, &#8220;Well, the AG just announced all laws not already enjoined are now in effect so yes, our pre-[R]oe abortion ban is enforcable [sic]. That was the end, folks. No more legal abortion in Alabama.&#8221;<\/p>\n<div class=\"video-container\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">We are making a pool to send our currently booked patients out of state. And in a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.alabamaag.gov\/newsviewer\/11b166ae-98c7-4749-a710-b6923f8d96c5\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">press release<\/a>, stated, \u201cBecause neither the United States Constitution nor the Alabama Constitution provides a right to abortion, Alabama laws that prohibit abortion and that have not been enjoined by a court are in full effect. For those laws that have been halted by courts, the State will immediately file motions to dissolve those injunctions. Attorney General Steve Marshall (@AGSteveMarshall) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/AGSteveMarshall\/status\/1540358517214912515?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">June 24, 2022<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/div>\n<p>According to a recent report by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.al.com\/news\/2022\/06\/abortions-on-the-rise-in-alabama-as-supreme-court-decision-looms.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">AL.com<\/a>, &#8220;Alabama has five clinics that provide abortion services&#8230; Earlier this year, Planned Parenthood clinics in Mobile and Birmingham said they would stop providing abortion services due to a lack of staffing.&#8221; An Alabama Department of Health\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.alabamapublichealth.gov\/healthstats\/assets\/itop_2020.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">report<\/a>\u00a0showed that Alabama residents had a total of 7,466 abortions in 2020, a slight decline from the year before, the paper also reported.<\/p>\n<p>The pro-abortion Jezebel blog\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/jezebel.com\/abortion-clinics-have-already-stopped-scheduling-appoin-1849071197\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reported<\/a>\u00a0that in April Planned Parenthood Southeast halted abortion services in Alabama due to what a spokesperson said were staffing changes at both the health center and executive level.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Arizona<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Planned Parenthood Arizona <a href=\"https:\/\/www.plannedparenthood.org\/planned-parenthood-arizona\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">wrote<\/a> online, &#8220;Because Arizona\u2019s legal landscape is complex, PPAZ will pause abortion services at this time to protect our staff and patients.&#8221; AZSenateRepublicans (@AZSenateGOP) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/AZSenateGOP\/status\/1540404293315964930?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">June 24, 2022<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/div>\n<p><strong>Arkansas<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Planned Parenthood in Arkansas is no longer offering abortions in the state,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.plannedparenthood.org\/about-us\/newsroom\/press-releases\/arkansas-trigger-ban-certified-abortion-now-banned-in-state\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">writing online<\/a>, &#8220;Arkansas abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood Great Plains, are no longer able to offer abortion in the state. And Arkansans will now be forced to travel hundreds of miles, hours from their homes, for essential health care.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>At the same time, Benny Johnson <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/bennyjohnson\/status\/1540425134892253186\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">tweeted<\/a>\u00a0that Arkansas Attorney General Leslie Rutledge \u201ccertified the trigger law making Abortion illegal in Arkansas and providers can now face up to 10 years in prison.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cToday the prolife movement is victorious,\u201d\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/arkansasag.gov\/news_releases\/rutledge-ends-abortion-in-arkansas\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">said<\/a>\u00a0AG Rutledge. \u201cI have a long history of fighting for the unborn, and it is my greatest honor to officially end abortion in Arkansas.\u00a0<em>Roe<\/em>\u00a0was wrong on the day it was decided, and today, we can protect every innocent life in Arkansas.\u201d\u00a0She also\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/AGRutledge\/status\/1540432769402167301\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">tweeted,<\/a>\u00a0\u201cToday, it was my greatest honor to officially end abortion in Arkansas. Roe was wrong on the day it was decided, and now we can protect innocent lives in Arkansas. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/zI3IX9wYOA\">pic.twitter.com\/zI3IX9wYOA<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Leslie Rutledge (@AGRutledge) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/AGRutledge\/status\/1540432769402167301?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">June 24, 2022<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/div>\n<p><strong>Florida<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Planned Parenthood of Southwest and Central Florida <a href=\"https:\/\/www.plannedparenthood.org\/planned-parenthood-southwest-central-florida\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">wrote<\/a> on its website, &#8220;The Supreme Court has overturned\u00a0<em>Roe v. Wade<\/em>\u00a0\u2014 the court&#8217;s landmark decision that established the right to abortion nearly 50 years ago.\u00a0Abortion care is still safe, legal, and accessible in Florida despite this ruling.\u00a0However, a 15-week abortion ban is set to go into effect for Florida on July 1, 2022 unless it is blocked in the courts.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Kentucky<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.channel3000.com\/i\/abortions-stop-at-kentucky-clinics-after-supreme-court-rules\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Channel3000.com<\/a>, &#8220;Kentucky\u2019s so-called trigger laws means abortion has largely been outlawed in the state upon the U.S. Supreme Court ruling overturning Roe v. Wade on Friday.&#8221; The report adds, &#8220;The state\u2019s <em>only two abortion clinics, both in Louisville, halted abortions Friday<\/em>. The Kentucky law passed in 2019 declares that abortion would become illegal \u201ceffective immediately\u201d if Roe v. Wade is overturned. Lots of other states will have clinics in this exact predicament&#8230;&#8221; A <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gofundme.com\/f\/red-river-womens-clinic-new-location\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">GoFundMe page<\/a> set up for the facility reads in part, &#8220;As a state with a trigger-ban in place, North Dakota would ban abortion in 30 days if Roe v Wade is overturned. This clinic-contingency plan a few miles away (and across the Red River) is the best option to ensure care is not interrupted for people seeking abortions in this region&#8230;. Space has been purchased in Moorhead, MN but renovations and furnishings are needed while care continues at the Fargo, ND location (as long as it is legally allowed). Donate here: <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/0WXWCRhIYp\">https:\/\/t.co\/0WXWCRhIYp<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Salena Koster (@Salencita) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Salencita\/status\/1540470394561380358?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">June 24, 2022<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/div>\n<p><strong>Oklahoma<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.plannedparenthood.org\/planned-parenthood-great-plains\/ppgp-health-centers\/ppgp-in-oklahoma\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">late May<\/a>, Planned Parenthood in Oklahoma is no longer providing abortions according to tits\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.plannedparenthood.org\/planned-parenthood-great-plains\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">website<\/a>. On June 7, 2022, PBS News <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbs.org\/newshour\/show\/how-states-are-preparing-for-a-supreme-court-decision-that-could-overturn-roe-v-wade\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reported<\/a>, &#8220;[A]bortion providers here in the state have effectively ended abortions. They are not providing them right now. The four clinics in the state stopped them, both medical and surgical abortions. Planned Parenthood operates two clinics here in the state, and they actually stopped providing abortions after the six-week ban went into effect in early May.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>And according to <a href=\"https:\/\/jezebel.com\/abortion-clinics-have-already-stopped-scheduling-appoin-1849071197\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Jezebel<\/a>, &#8220;The independent clinic group, Trust Women, had also halted care at its Oklahoma location for a few weeks in April, before resuming abortions on April 22 and continuing until the law took effect.&#8221; Trust Women&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/trustwomen.org\/clinics\/oklahoma-city\/patient-care-services\/abortion\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">website<\/a> reads, &#8220;As of May 26th, 2022, abortion is illegal in Oklahoma. House Bill 4327 makes all abortions illegal after fertilization, with limited exceptions for rape and incest (only if reported to law enforcement), as well as to save the life of a pregnant person in a medical emergency.\u00a0 If you are an Oklahoma resident, pregnant and in need of an abortion, you will have to find an out-of-state provider.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Today, Governor Kevin Stitt\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/CaroleNovielli\/status\/1540431167979134977?s=20&amp;t=srNka_CImznaS9ESOaScXg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">tweeted<\/a>\u00a0a video of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.oag.ok.gov\/newsroom\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">AG John O\u2019Connor<\/a> certifying a state ban abortion in Oklahoma. Senator Greg Treat\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Sen_GregTreat\/status\/1540368753157865477\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">tweeted<\/a>, \u201cJust received this from the AG. Our &#8216;trigger bill&#8217; has been triggered.
