The pro-abortion group RuthSentUs, which recently published the home addresses of Supreme Court justices online, is on the defensive after a California man came to Maryland with weapons, plotting to kill Justice Brett Kavanaugh.<\/p>\n

In a recent Twitter thread<\/a>,\u00a0RuthSentUs claimed they are not to blame for potentially inspiring the pro-abortion activist to seek to kill Justice Kavanaugh. The group has held regular protests outside the homes of Supreme Court Justices since the leaked draft opinion was published in the Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization<\/em> case that could overturn Roe v. Wade<\/em>.<\/p>\n

In an attempt to distance themselves<\/a> from the attempted assassination, RuthSentUs wrote on Twitter<\/a>, “STOP blaming us for disclosing Kavanaugh\u2019s address! Search Twitter: Justice\u2019s name + \u201caddress\u201d. They\u2019re all out there, including second homes and summer villas. <\/span>#OverturnRoe<\/a><\/span>? <\/span>#NoPeace<\/a><\/span> We did not doxx the Justices. Stop watching <\/span><\/span>@FoxNews<\/a><\/span>!”\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Live Action News reported<\/a> earlier this week the\u00a0arrest of Nicholas John Roske, who traveled to Maryland with the specific goal of killing Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh. The Washington Post <\/span>further reported<\/span><\/a> that sources told them the man specifically sought to kill Kavanaugh based on the Supreme Court <\/span>leaked draft opinion<\/span><\/a> overturning <\/span>Roe v. Wade<\/span><\/i>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

According to LegalInsurrection.com<\/a>, the official complaint against\u00a0Roske<\/span> reads:<\/p>\n

After being transported to the Montgomery County Police Department Second District Precinct, a detective advised ROSKE of his constitutional rights. ROSKE indicated that he understood his rights, agreed to speak with the agents, and signed a written waiver to that effect. ROSKE then told the detective that\u00a0he was upset about the leak of a recent Supreme\u00a0<\/strong>Court draft decision regarding the right to abortion as well as the recent school shooting in\u00a0<\/strong>Uvalde, Texas<\/strong>. ROSKE indicated that he believed the Justice that he intended to kill would side with Second Amendment decisions that would loosen gun control laws. ROSKE stated that he began thinking about how to give his life a purpose and decided that he would kill the Supreme Court Justice\u00a0after finding the Justice\u2019s Montgomery County address on the Internet<\/strong>. ROSKE further indicated that\u00a0he had purchased the Glock pistol and other items for the purpose of\u00a0<\/strong>breaking into the Justice\u2019s residence and killing the Justice as well as himself<\/strong>.<\/em><\/p>\n

While it is unclear where on the internet Roske found the Justice’s address,<\/span>\u00a0the image below of the now scrubbed and archived Ruth Sent Us website<\/a>\u00a0shows that the RuthSentUs clearly published a map (or meeting location<\/a>) leading to the Justices homes.<\/p>\n

RuthSentUs has also\u00a0claimed<\/a>\u00a0that the group is \u201ccommitted to non-violence,\u201d later tweeting about Roske, \u201cWe didn\u2019t send him.”<\/p>\n

“Fundamentalists want us to cower in fear of their armed attacks of our homes, schools and clinics,” they added in the same Twitter thread<\/a>, which included a meme of protest dates at various Justice’s homes.\u00a0<\/span>“They expect us to go high when they go low. We refuse. We\u2019re committed to non-violence. Our protests are peaceful and joyful. Protest <\/span>#SCOTUS6<\/a><\/span> with <\/span>@OurRightsDC\u00a0<\/a><\/span>@downrightimp”<\/a><\/span>\u00a0the tweet also read.<\/p>\n

“We offer our thoughts & prayers to Brett & Ashley Kavanaugh after a California man arrived by taxi near their home, armed with a gun & knife, then called the police on himself to confess his murderous rage against the abusive alcoholic ‘Justice’. We didn\u2019t send him. <\/span>#RuthSentUs,<\/a>” the group also tweeted<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

RuthSentUs<\/a>\u00a0appears to have been created in 2020 and does not divulge the names of organizers on its website. The group allegedly\u00a0posted<\/a>\u00a0GPS coordinates to the\u00a0homes<\/a>\u00a0of SCOTUS Justices and also\u00a0threatened<\/a>\u00a0to \u201cburn the Eucharist\u201d of Catholic Churches.<\/p>\n

In recent weeks, along with the protests, a rash of terroristic acts, including three fire bombings, have been aimed at pro-life pregnancy centers, churches and offices,\u00a0prompting<\/a> 16 United States Senators to send a\u00a0letter<\/a>\u00a0to\u00a0U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland asking for the DOJ to respond to increasing pro-abortion violence.<\/p>\n
