UPDATE 5\/18\/22 8:52 p.m. EST\u00a0<\/strong>Just two days after receiving its “permanent ban” from TikTok, pro-abortion group Ruth Sent Us announced that the social media platform had reinstated its account.<\/p>\n

\u201cGREAT NEWS: our TikTok @ruthsent which was \u2018permanently banned\u2019 due to mass reporting is back up due to mass appeals! There\u2019s more of us than them. Take that, haters!\u201d the group tweeted<\/a>.<\/p>\n

According to Catholic News Agency<\/a>, TikTok has given no explanation regarding the quick reversal of its previous decision.<\/p>\n

5\/18\/22 4:40 p.m.<\/strong> (National Review<\/a>) Leftist pro-abortion group Ruth Sent Us has had its TikTok account \u201cpermanently banned\u201d after publishing what it claimed were the home addresses<\/a> of the Supreme Court\u2019s six conservative justices online as part of an organized \u201cwalk-by protest\u201d earlier this month.<\/p>\n

Ruth Sent Us had posted videos on TikTok advertising multiple coordinated demonstrations in front of the justices\u2019 homes in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington D.C, encouraging participants to wear costumes from Margaret Atwood\u2019s dystopian novel, The Handmaid\u2019s Tale<\/em>. While the grassroots group<\/a> had hosted marches before, the early March leak of the Supreme Court draft opinion that would overturn Roe v. Wade<\/em>, the landmark ruling that legalized abortion nationally, triggered a new wave of radical activism.<\/p>\n

\u201cYour account permanently banned due to multiple violations of our Community Guidelines,\u201d reads a screenshot<\/a> posted Saturday by the Ruth Sent Us \u201cbackup\u201d TikTok account, Fox News first reported. After the original account was suspended, the group appears to have rebranded itself as Ruth Sent U.<\/p>\n

While TikTok did not specify what content posted by Ruth Sent Us was deemed inadmissible, the group has faced intense backlash this month for using intimidation tactics to pressure the justices to uphold Roe, potentially jeopardizing their safety and the integrity of the Court.<\/p>\n

For example, in one video<\/a>, in which the location was pinned in Falls Church, Va., protestors dressed in red robes and white bonnets depicted in Atwood\u2019s book appear to walk by Justice Amy Coney Barrett\u2019s home. A subtitle in the video reads, \u201cWalking up to Jesse Barrett & Amy Barrett\u2019s home.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve been mass-reported since last week on all social media, suffered death threats, doxxing, and a SWAT attempt,\u201d Ruth Sent Us claimed on May 12.<\/p>\n

Ruth Sent Us has also come under fire for targeting<\/a> Catholic churches in the DMV, barging into and disrupting Sunday mass in the same red garb while parishioners were worshipping. Some churches, such as St. Joe\u2019s Catholic Church<\/a> on Capitol Hill, requested extra police presence in the event that pro-abortion protestors crashed Mother\u2019s Day mass.<\/p>\n

In a Twitter post<\/a> last week, the group wrote, \u201cStuff your rosaries and your weaponized prayer. We will remain outraged after this weekend, so keep praying. We\u2019ll be burning the Eucharist to show our disgust for the abuse Catholic Churches have condoned for centuries.\u201d<\/p>\n

On Sunday, protestors congregated in cities nationwide for the annual Women\u2019s March, which is notoriously pro-abortion. The Women\u2019s March tweeted<\/a> Sunday, \u201cOur Summer of Rage is officially beginning. We\u2019re prepared to rage for Roe<\/em> all summer, culminating in a Women\u2019s Convention in Houston, Texas. We won\u2019t rest until abortion rights are protected.\u201d<\/p>\n
