Pro-abortion activists became violent yesterday in Los Angeles as they protested the U.S. Supreme Court’s leaked draft opinion that signals it may overturn Roe v. Wade<\/em> this June. One police officer was injured in the attacks.<\/p>\n

According to the Associated Press<\/a>, authorities said a small crowd of 30 grew to about 250 people who marched in support of abortion in a peaceful manner until some of the activists began throwing rocks and bottles at police. Additional police were called in, and a citywide police tactical alert was declared for the area near Pershing Square downtown.<\/p>\n
