A new Hallmark movie will reportedly center around a romance between two characters with Down syndrome.<\/p>\n

Dubbed \u201cColor My World with Love,\u201d the film stars Lily D. Moore as an impressionist painter named Kendall. David DeSanctis, an actor with Down syndrome, plays Kendall\u2019s romantic interest, Brad.\u00a0In a statement, Moore reportedly said she hoped the film would show others they have \u201cendless possibilities.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cEveryone has a dream to fall in love and get married one day, even people with disabilities,\u201d Moore said, according to Entertainment Tonight<\/a>. \u201cI hope viewers take away that ‘Color My World With Love’ is about painting your own story through your emotions and that we all have endless possibilities.\u201d<\/p>\n

Moore\u2019s and DeSanctis\u2019 characters meet during a cooking class at a local center for diverse learners, and their relationship prompts reservations from Kendall\u2019s concerned mother, Emma, played by Erica Durance. Emma \u201cslowly accepts that Kendall is ready to \u2014 and should \u2014 live her own life,\u201d according to ET. \u201cIn the process, Emma learns a lesson from Kendall about how to look beyond what\u2019s in front of you and see the beauty that exists. And, just maybe, she finds herself ready to find love once again.\u201d Her acceptance is helped along by Nic, Brad\u2019s family friend, who is played by Benjamin Ayres.<\/p>\n

Ayres and DeSanctis reportedly enjoyed a friendly relationship off-screen as well. On Instagram, Ayres posted about the texts DeSanctis would send noting his daily activities.<\/p>\n

\u201c\u2018My brother from another Mother\u2019 is a line from #ColorMyWorldWithLove that David and I text each other daily. #daviddesanctis,\u201d said<\/a> Ayres. \u201cEach morning, he texts everyone from the film his daily activities and plan. It\u2019s beautiful and inspiring and makes me think about how I want to spend MY day.\u201d<\/p>\n

Moore also posted about her relationship with Durance on Instagram. \u201cMy movie mom @durance.erica taught me so much,\u201d Moore captioned<\/a> a photo of her and Durance. \u201cShe was so kind and was so patient with me! I\u2019m so happy she\u2019s my friend for life!!\u201d<\/p>\n
