Planned Parenthood is being flooded with taxpayer dollars through the Federal Title X Family Planning Program days after receiving a\u00a0$275 million<\/a>\u00a0donation from\u00a0MacKenzie Scott, the ex-wife of Amazon founder Jeff Bezos.<\/p>\n

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ (HHS) release<\/a> shows that out of the $256.6 million awarded<\/a>\u00a0by HHS in grant funding to 76 grantees, more than $14.5 million was given to Planned Parenthood in 12 states, with an additional $17.2 million going to a Maine abortion facility and a heavy advocate of abortion in Hawaii and California. In addition, President Biden’s 2023\u00a0budget<\/a> seeks to increase spending<\/a> to Title X from $286.479 million to $400 million.<\/p>\n

Title X is\u00a0administered<\/a>\u00a0through the Office of Population Affairs (OPA) at HHS.\u00a0Shortly after taking office in 2021, President Biden issued an executive order instructing HHS to review former President Trump’s “Protect Life” rule, which\u00a0blocked facilities that received federal\u00a0Title X family planning funds<\/a>\u00a0from providing or referring for abortion. The rule was rescinded<\/a> by the Biden Administration last fall.<\/p>\n

Planned Parenthood<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Planned Parenthood\u00a0presents itself as<\/a>\u00a0a\u00a0health care organization<\/a>, yet year after year<\/a>, most of its legitimate health services decline<\/a> while abortions increase.\u00a0Despite this fact, in January of 2022, HHS\u00a0announced<\/a>\u00a0the agency was\u00a0awarding<\/a> over $1.9 million to three Planned Parenthood affiliates and nearly $1.7 million to other organizations that promote or commit abortions. Just a few months later,\u00a0the most recent HHS announcement<\/a> indicates eight Planned Parenthood affiliates will receive $14,568,770 in taxpayer dollars to go to facilities in 12 states.<\/p>\n

Planned Parenthood of Southern New England,\u00a0Inc. (PPSNE)<\/strong> just received<\/a> $17 million from\u00a0MacKenzie Scott \u2014 and Biden’s HHS, led by strident abortion advocate\u00a0Secretary Xavier Becerra<\/a>, just granted PPSNE\u00a0$1,890,000 in Connecticut.<\/p>\n

Live Action News recently<\/a> documented that a\u00a0lawsuit<\/a>\u00a0filed against PPSNE alleges a PPSNE midwife misdiagnosed a pregnancy that resulted in the death of a 22-week-old baby boy after telling the pregnant woman that she had miscarried at six weeks. Still another alleges<\/a> PPSNE failed to notice a client was 14 weeks pregnant before inserting an IUD.\u00a0A third\u00a0separate lawsuit<\/a>\u00a0alleges that a PPSNE abortionists left a woman permanently injured.<\/p>\n

In 2020<\/a>, abortions at PPSNE made up 6% of this affiliate’s services, and according to their annual reports, the affiliate committed\u00a011,514 abortions in 2019<\/a> and\u00a011,030 abortions in 2018<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In 2018, Planned Parenthood Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota (PPMNS)<\/strong> announced<\/a> a merger with Planned Parenthood of the Heartland to form the new abortion affiliate<\/a>: Planned Parenthood North Central States (PPNCS), which just received<\/a> $20 million from\u00a0MacKenzie Scott. More than three years later, HHS is granting $2,880,000 in taxpayer dollars to PPMNS in Minnesota.<\/p>\n

HHS also granted Planned Parenthood South\u00a0Atlantic<\/strong>\u00a0(PPSA)<\/strong>\u00a0$477,720 in North Carolina and\u00a0$569,980 in South Carolina. The affiliate was formed in 2015<\/a>\u00a0from a\u00a0merger<\/a> between\u00a0Planned Parenthood Health Systems and Planned Parenthood of Central North Carolina.<\/p>\n

Planned Parenthood of Northern New\u00a0England (PPNNE)<\/strong>\u00a0was\u00a0granted $502,500 in New Hampshire.\u00a0In 2018<\/a>, PPNNE committed abortions on 3,554 clients while\u00a0according to their 2019 annual report<\/a>, abortion at PPNNE is six percent of the services the affiliate provides.<\/p>\n

Planned Parenthood Great Northwest, Hawaii, Alaska, Indiana, and Kentucky<\/strong>\u00a0(PPGNWHAIK) committed\u00a032,603 abortions in\u00a02020<\/a>\u00a0according to the latest\u00a0annual report<\/a>. Yet, HHS just gave PPGNWHAIK nearly $2.7 million in Government grants as follows:<\/p>\n
