At this point, she had other things on her mind.<\/p>\n<p>For one thing, the child\u2019s father had to stay in the abortion center\u2019s waiting room, and she didn\u2019t care for that policy. \u201cThey don\u2019t let your family or friends be part of this,\u201d she said, which \u201cshould be a creepy tip-off.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Next, the staff told her the cost of the abortion would be double the amount they had mentioned on the phone.<\/p>\n<p>But then, something happened. \u201cI saw my baby on the ultrasound,\u201d she said, \u201cand that changed the whole world. I stormed out.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>On her way back through the waiting room on her way out the door, \u201cI told the girls there is still time and I will have them in my prayers.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>On leaving the building, she saw the 40 Days for Life signs again. She went home, Googled the name, found the Charlotte campaign\u2019s Facebook page \u2014 and wrote to the local coordinators.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/40daysforlife.com\/images\/spring2011charlotte1.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The local team connected her with pro-life prenatal resources.
