Abortion <\/span>advocates<\/span><\/a> are having a field day accusing North Carolina Lt. Governor Mark Robinson of hypocrisy over a 2012 social media <\/span>admission<\/span><\/a> that he once paid for an abortion, back in 1989.<\/span><\/p>\n

Rachel Stein, a spokeswoman for the North Carolina Democratic Party <\/span>said<\/span><\/a>: “Everyone needs access to abortion, even Mark Robinson.\u201d A Twitter user known as the-compassionate-independent <\/em><\/span>wrote<\/span><\/a>: \u201cHe fully admits that he paid for an abortion back in the 80’s that was his child. So, it’s good for me but not for thee (as usual).\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Nevermind that Robinson has expressed regret for having participated in abortion decades ago, and described his actions as \u201cwrong.\u201d Nevermind his March 24 <\/span>video<\/span><\/a>, in which he explicitly states that he and his wife are pro-life <\/span>because<\/span><\/i> their abortion \u2014which they describe as “the wrong decision” \u2014 has caused them tremendous pain.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
