Robertson is the wife of Alan, one of the well-known Robertson brothers of the Duck Commander clan.<\/p>\n<p>Robertson was just 16 years old when she had her abortion. She told the March for Life rally crowd that she was told &#8220;three lies&#8221; by the abortion facility that day \u2014 lies that she said &#8220;would impact the life of my unborn child.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/u9MpXZvm9Zw?start=4970\" width=\"640\" height=\"355\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><span data-mce-type=\"bookmark\" style=\"display: inline-block; width: 0px; overflow: hidden; line-height: 0;\" class=\"mce_SELRES_start\">\ufeff<\/span><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The first lie Robertson said she was told was, &#8220;it&#8217;s just a glob of tissue. But that was a lie because we know that life begins at conception.&#8221; The second was, &#8220;I was told, your body will heal and be as good as new in a couple of days. That also was a lie. My body was never the same and I was never able to carry a child to full term.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Many women have suffered <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/research-really-shows-abortions-physical-risks\/\">physical<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/media-abortion-trauma-proponents-deny-existence\/\">emotional<\/a> complications after abortion, and their suffering is increased when they come to terms with the real facts about their aborted children and their development:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/cpdY97GOK2I\" width=\"640\" height=\"355\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><span data-mce-type=\"bookmark\" style=\"display: inline-block; width: 0px; overflow: hidden; line-height: 0;\" class=\"mce_SELRES_start\">\ufeff<\/span><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The third lie, she says, was &#8220;when you leave here today, you can forget this day ever happened. Again, that was a lie. That was 40 years ago and every day of my life I think of that day.&#8221; This type of abortion trauma is also <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/post-abortion-trauma-real-researchers-denying\/\">unfortunately common<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;These lies and many others nearly cost me my life, my family, my children that I carried and birthed. It did cost me two children and generations of grandchildren,&#8221; Robertson said. &#8220;But God. God rescued me, He forgave me, He redeemed me. And he also gave me a voice to speak out for the unborn.
