We do. We\u2019ve provided countless abortions to patients who went on to live their best lives. Abortion is safe and it gives people control of their futures. Abortion is good. We do. We\u2019ve provided countless abortions to patients who went on to live their best lives. Abortion is safe and it gives people control of their futures. Abortion is good. We like abortion.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Most people like the thing that pays their bills, especially if it\u2019s exceptionally lucrative \u2013 and abortion qualifies. Whole Woman\u2019s Health charges <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wholewomanshealth.com\/abortion-care\/abortion-medication-by-mail\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">$400<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> just to drop the abortion pill regimen in the mail. While they don\u2019t advertise how much it costs to take the pills in their office or get a surgical abortion, it\u2019s likely more. And according to their own tweet, they have committed \u201ccountless\u201d abortions; recently, one of their locations recklessly <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/unsafe-texas-67-abortions-17-hours\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">committed<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> 67 in 17 hours to beat a Texas deadline \u2013 enough to bank a sizable pile of cash.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>READ:\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/former-employee-whole-womans-health-exploits-loopholes\/\">Former employee at Whole Woman\u2019s Health abortion chain says company exploits \u2018loopholes\u2019<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As for patients going on \u201cto live their best lives,\u201d one must question how they would gather such information. This abortion chain has been <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/checkmyclinic.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/WHOLE-WOMANS-HEALTH-OF-SAN-ANTONIO2__Redacted.pdf\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">cited<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> at more than one location for <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/checkmyclinic.org\/clinics\/whole-womans-health-fort-worth\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">failing<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to schedule even the single <em>required<\/em> follow-up visit, and for failing to make sufficient effort to contact clients who missed their follow-up appointments. This does not sound like an organization that cares what happens to their customers after they leave the facility.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Research shows that post-abortive women face unique risks and challenges, including elevated <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/12190217\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">mortality rates<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">increased risk of mental health <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cambridge.org\/core\/journals\/the-british-journal-of-psychiatry\/article\/abortion-and-mental-health-quantitative-synthesis-and-analysis-of-research-published-19952009\/E8D556AAE1C1D2F0F8B060B28BEE6C3D\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">problems<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and a <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/journals.sagepub.com\/doi\/10.1177\/0004867413484597?url_ver=Z39.88-2003&amp;rfr_id=ori:rid:crossref.org&amp;rfr_dat=cr_pub%20%200pubmed\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">dramatically<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> increased risk of substance abuse issues.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Whole Woman\u2019s Health\u2019s platitudes about people going on to \u201clive their best lives\u201d ring hollow when compared to actual facts.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">So do their assurances of abortion\u2019s safety, and specifically abortions committed in their facilities. The Whole Woman\u2019s Health chain has been repeatedly cited for health and safety code <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/long-history-of-health-violations-at-abortion-chain-suing-over-pro-life-law\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">violations<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Some of its\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/checkmyclinic.org\/clinics\/charlottesville-medical-center-for-women\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">locations<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> evidenced dozens of violations, including using <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/checkmyclinic.org\/clinics\/whole-womans-health-fort-worth\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">expired medications<\/span><\/a>;\u00a0<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">using <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/checkmyclinic.org\/clinics\/whole-womans-health-of-mcallen\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">dirty<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/checkmyclinic.org\/clinics\/whole-womans-health-fort-worth\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">torn<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.texasallianceforlife.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/imported\/issues\/hb2\/DSHS_inspection_WWH_Beaumont_11_17_2011.pdf\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">rusty<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> equipment; and for having <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/checkmyclinic.org\/clinics\/charlottesville-medical-center-for-women\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">untrained<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and unvetted staff. Not only does this belie their \u201csafety\u201d claim, it also demonstrates the low level of regard Whole Woman\u2019s Health has for its customers.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The idea that abortion \u201dgives people control over their futures\u201d is also questionable. The only person whose future is \u201ccontrolled\u201d by abortion is the preborn human that is being killed \u2013 because abortion slams that child&#8217;s doorway to the future shut, permanently.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There\u2019s nothing surprising about this tweet. <em>Of course<\/em> abortionists are fond of abortion.
