(National Review<\/a>) On Saturday, I was confronted by two abortion activists who appear to be readers of my work. (Kathryn Jean Lopez, what are you going to blame abortion on next?<\/em> I\u2019ll own that. Abortion has devastatingly grave consequences on our souls and the soul of our nation, so to speak.) One who stuck with me until the Witness for Life prayer vigil outside Planned Parenthood returned to Old St. Patrick\u2019s for Benediction, kept announcing what a good day she was having because no one was forcing her to give birth that day.<\/p>\n

Again, this harkens back to the Amy Coney Barrett questioning last week during the Dobbs <\/em>oral arguments.<\/p>\n

They want the right to a dead baby if there is a pregnancy. The callousness toward the unborn baby is so cruel. And even more alarming is the number of people who are willing to say, \u201cMy mother should have aborted me.\u201d<\/p>\n
