If there\u2019s anything President Obama is, it\u2019s pro-choice (or whatever it is his BFFs at Planned Parenthood<\/a> are calling it these days). He has made it very clear throughout his political career that he is completely and totally in favor of killing any unborn child whose mother wishes her dead. He is also in favor of letting born children die<\/a> without medical treatment that could very well save them. He believes that violence in the womb has zero connection to the violence that occurs against children, women, minorities, and homosexuals. Yet he speaks as if he is an advocate for the weakest among us, rather than an advocate for the destruction of 55 million lives over 40 years.<\/p>\n

\"h\"In his inauguration speech<\/a> today, President Obama spoke many inspiring words, but combined with his pro-abortion beliefs, many of these words are meaningless terms of deception:<\/p>\n

1. \u2026 a great nation must care for the vulnerable.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

This is absolutely true. In order to be a great nation, the United States should care for the most vulnerable, but we don\u2019t. Under Obama, we continue to turn our backs<\/a> on women and children. We continue to believe as a nation that the only way to \u201chelp\u201d women (especially poor women) is to tell them to kill their own children. When we do this, we aren\u2019t caring for, but rather destroying two of the most vulnerable of people: the distraught mother and her soon-to-be murdered innocent child.<\/p>\n

2. Our journey is not complete until all our children \u2026 know that they are cared for, and cherished, and always safe from harm.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Did you know that the most dangerous place for a child with Down syndrome isn\u2019t at school, or a movie theater, or the mall, but in his mother\u2019s womb? Ninety percent of children<\/a> with Down syndrome are aborted. The womb has become a grave<\/a> for many children. Fifty-five million in 40 years.<\/p>\n

3. What makes us exceptional \u2013 what makes us American \u2013 is our allegiance to an idea, articulated in a declaration made more than two centuries ago: \u2018We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness.\u2019 \u2026 The patriots of 1776 did not fight to replace the tyranny of a king with the privileges of a few or the rule of a mob.\u00a0 They gave to us a Republic, a government of, and by, and for the people, entrusting each generation to keep safe our founding creed.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Our founding creed makes it simple, as Obama said: \u201cAll men are created<\/em> equal \u2026 with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life<\/em>[.]\u201d We are created at conception, not at birth. The last four generations of pro-abortion politicians have done nothing but work against this, including Obama. Every day he is in office, he is working against this founding creed that he speaks so highly of.<\/p>\n

4. We are true to our creed when a little girl born into the bleakest poverty knows that she has the same chance to succeed as anybody else, because she is an American, she is free, and she is equal, not just in the eyes of God but also in our own.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

We are never true to our creed when it comes to little girls, because we have decided that little girls don\u2019t deserve to be protected from sex-selective abortions<\/a>. And we tell lower-income women that they aren\u2019t good enough<\/a> to raise their babies, and then advise them to kill those babies, setting the stage for a bleak future. Abortion does nothing to pull people out of poverty<\/a>.<\/p>\n

5. \u2026 we must be a source of hope to the poor, the sick, the marginalized, the victims of prejudice \u2013 not out of mere charity, but because peace in our time requires the constant advance of those principles that our common creed describes:\u00a0 tolerance and opportunity; human dignity and justice.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

To be a source of hope does not mean we tell mothers that the lives of their unborn disabled children<\/a> are meaningless and worthless and advise them to abort. It does not mean that we tell the poor that they aren\u2019t good enough to take care of their children. And it doesn\u2019t mean that we kill innocent people simply because they are disabled or ill<\/a>. None of these acts, which occur every day in America, show tolerance or provide justice.<\/p>\n

6. That is our generation\u2019s task \u2013 to make these words, these rights, these values \u2013 of Life, and Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness \u2013 real for every American.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

If this is true, Mr. President, will you please start with the weakest among us and make it your task to ensure that every American, created equal as you stated, is protected from harm? Make it your task that the right to life be no longer denied to so many American children before they even have the chance to be held in their mothers\u2019 arms.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
