The abortion industry often\u00a0claims<\/a> that the abortion pill is “safer than Tylenol<\/a>.” Yet reports continue to emerge of increasing ER visits and complications due to chemical abortion even as the world considers making at-home DIY abortions \u2014 increasingly popularized and authorized during the COVID-19 pandemic \u2014 permanent.<\/p>\n

Here are seven reasons why everyone should question the safety of the abortion pill:<\/p>\n

1. Politicization<\/b><\/p>\n

The U.S. Food and Drug Admininstration (FDA) politicized<\/a>\u00a0the abortion pill\u2019s approval process two decades ago by choosing not to publish the names of the \u201cexperts\u201d who reviewed the drug. The creation and sale of the abortion pill has since gone on to be\u00a0more than a profitable venture<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Interviewers\u00a0from Columbia University who spoke<\/a> to those involved at that time noted that the names of the FDA staff involved with approving the abortion pill have\u00a0<\/span>never<\/span><\/i>\u00a0been released.<\/span><\/p>\n

One of the\u00a0<\/span>FDA\u2019s\u00a0senior medical reviewers<\/a>\u00a0who \u201cchose to remain anonymous\u201d <\/span>admitted<\/a>, \u201cIt\u2019s definitely not standard. It\u2019s not routine, you can look up almost every other drug that I was the primary medical officer for and my name would appear right there on the review.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

2. Secretive Process<\/strong><\/p>\n

From the\u00a0onset<\/a>,\u00a0executives, the company structure and\u00a0original investors<\/a>\u00a0of the abortion pill manufacturer (Danco Laboratories) have been\u00a0shrouded in secrecy<\/a>\u00a0with the exception of a select few, like the Packard and\u00a0Buffett Foundations<\/a>, as well as billionaire\u00a0George Soros’<\/a>\u00a0Open Society Foundations.<\/p>\n
