More than 150 pro-lifers attended<\/a> a funeral on Saturday for a baby whose body was found in an abortion facility’s trash container in June.<\/p>\n

Named Gianna-John by local pro-lifers, the baby was about 15 to 17 weeks<\/a> when she was aborted<\/a> at Northeast Ohio Women’s Center (NEOWC) in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. She was killed by the Dilation and Evacuation (D&E) abortion<\/a> procedure, commonly known as dismemberment abortion. This is the most commonly used abortion procedure during the second trimester and the abortionist kills the baby by tearing her arms and legs from her torso before crushing her skull.<\/p>\n

The interfaith funeral service was attended by the Executive Director of Northeast Ohio Right to Life Denise Leopold, Rev. Bob Schneider, and Monica Miglioriono Miller of Citizens for a Pro-Life Society. The burial plot and headstone were donated by the Catholic Cemeteries Association and the casket and vault were donated by Heaven’s Gain Ministries. Anthony Funeral Home donated their services for Gianna-John.<\/p>\n

According to Life News<\/a>, on June 7, 2021, a member of Citizens for a Pro-Life Society decided to search the trash containers at NEOWC. He found the baby, dismembered and wrapped in a blood-stained blue surgical pad. Also found in the trash were prescription vials, soiled suction cannulas used in abortions, bloody surgical papers, and urine cups that still had names of clinic patients on them, along with biohazard waste.<\/p>\n
