We recognize and respect that we all have deeply held and different perspectives. As a company, we stand with all of our women at Salesforce and everywhere.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The message continued, &#8220;With that being said, if you have concerns about access to reproductive healthcare in your state, Salesforce will help relocate you and members of your immediate family.&#8221;<\/p>\n<div class=\"video-container\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Ohana if you want to move we\u2019ll help you exit TX. Your choice.&#8221; Ohana is a Hawaiian word for family. It is unclear if any employees have taken the company up on the offer.<\/p>\n<p>Salesforce employs about 56,000 people in the US, Europe, and India, according to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.independent.co.uk\/news\/world\/americas\/us-politics\/salesforce-texas-abortion-relocate-workers-b1918751.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Independent<\/a>. The company has been vocal about many laws, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2021\/09\/10\/salesforce-offers-to-relocate-employees-from-texas-after-abortion-bill.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">including<\/a> the Indiana Religious Freedom Restoration Act, which it believed would allow companies to deny services to LGBTQ individuals for religious reasons. The company threatened to cancel all of its programs in the state so that no employees traveled there. When that law was changed, Salesforce increased its presence in Indiana. Benioff also spoke against companies that lobbed <em>against<\/em> tax increases in the San Francisco Bay Area where the company&#8217;s headquarters are located, saying that not increasing taxes shows an unwillingness to help the large homeless population in the area.<\/p>\n<p>Other companies publicly opposing the pro-life law include Texas-based dating companies Match.com and Bumble, which are setting up funding to help women get abortions. Uber and Lyft also <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/lyft-uber-oppose-heartbeat-texas-planned-parenthood\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">voiced<\/a> opposition to the bill, with Lyft donating a million dollars to Planned Parenthood, the nation&#8217;s most lucrative abortion business which has been <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/internal-audit-racism-planned-parenthood-years\/\">accused of past and present racism<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/report-19-planned-parenthood-affiliates-admit-racism\/\">white supremacy by employees<\/a>. In addition, the video game company Tripwire <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/articles\/2021-09-07\/video-game-ceo-resigns-after-supporting-texas-abortion-law\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">pressured<\/a> its CEO and co-founder John Gibson to step down after he tweeted support for the Heartbeat Act, and Shipwright Studios threatened to cancel its contracts with Tripwire over the tweet from Gibson&#8217;s personal account.<\/p>\n<div class=\"video-container\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Proud of <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/USSupremeCourt?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#USSupremeCourt<\/a> affirming the Texas law banning abortion for babies with a heartbeat. As an entertainer I don\u2019t get political often. This is usually at about six weeks, though the heart actually begins beating much earlier in pregnancy between <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/congress-should-pass-the-heartbeat-bill-to-protect-life-once-a-heartbeat-is-detected\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">16 and 22 days<\/a> post-fertilization. The law is meant to protect these children from unnecessary and violent deaths by abortion.
