Now that a new Texas law is prohibiting abortions once a preborn baby’s heartbeat can be detected, the mantra of the abortion industry and its allies has changed again. Prior to 1973, abortion was supposed to be “safe and legal” and then in the 1990s, the mantra was changed to “safe, legal, and rare.” But in a stunning shift, the mantra now seems to be that illegal abortion can be “safe”<\/em>\u00a0\u2014 according to abortion advocates who are publishing instructions on how to obtain or use dangerous abortion methods.<\/p>\n

In order to\u00a0decriminalize abortion decades ago in the U.S., abortion advocates pushed the false narrative<\/a> that countless women had died from illegal abortion and would continue to die if abortion was not legalized. The purveyors of legalized abortion (primarily men<\/a>, some with ties to eugenics) marketed this lie<\/a> through their allies in the media to such an extent that state lawmakers literally changed their positions and voted to legalize the killing of preborn human beings.<\/p>\n

Illegal abortions suddenly “safe”?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Renee Bracey Sherman, former<\/a> NARAL board member and founder<\/a> of the abortion site We Testify, called it “misinformation” to claim that all illegal abortions are “unsafe.” She told Twitter<\/a>\u00a0followers, “Illegal doesn\u2019t have to mean unsafe. With medication abortion, it\u2019s quite safe to self-manage an abortion…”<\/p>\n

Then, in order to muddy what little data there is on abortion pill complications and deaths,\u00a0in the exact same thread<\/a>\u00a0Sherman advised abortion patients to lie<\/em>\u00a0to hospital staff and claim they are experiencing a natural miscarriage rather than a chemical abortion when presenting<\/a> to the emergency room.<\/p>\n

“Remember, if someone decides to go to the ER because they\u2019re concerned about how their self-managed abortion is progressing, they can just say they\u2019re having a miscarriage. There\u2019s no way to test for the medications in your system and the treatment for miscarriage is an abortion,” she tweeted.<\/p>\n

Lying is a common theme among abortion advocates, as we will demonstrate later.<\/p>\n

In a separate tweet<\/a> this week, pro-abortion journalist\u00a0Caroline Kitchener used\u00a0an abortion pill complication incident for her own political agenda, c<\/span>onfirming that taking the abortion pill is not<\/em> always safe and effective.<\/p>\n

“A doctor tells me he saw a patient yesterday whose medication abortion had failed,” she tweeted.<\/span><\/p>\n

Quoting the doctor, she wrote, \u201cNot only does she have to continue the pregnancy \u2014 but it\u2019s a pregnancy that\u2019s higher risk because of the medication she took.\u201d<\/p>\n

“Advanced provision” of abortion pills:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Former\u00a0NARAL board member<\/a>\u00a0Daniel Grossman<\/a>\u00a0unveiled his “solution” to his Twitter<\/a>\u00a0followers, promoting so-called \u201cadvance provision\u201d of abortion pills.<\/p>\n

According to the abortionist, “Advance provision of medication abortion means giving or getting the pills (mifepristone and misoprostol) in advance of need \u2014 before an unwanted pregnancy.\u00a0Patients obviously need clear information about when and how to use the pills.”<\/p>\n

Grossman understands abortion pills have risk, because in the same Twitter thread<\/a> \u2014 almost as a way to inoculate himself from culpability \u2014 Grossman points out, “[…]there are some people who are not good candidates for advance provision, including those taking blood thinners or who have a bleeding disorder.”<\/p>\n

Why would that be a problem? Because hemorrhage<\/a> during the process of expelling the preborn\u00a0child<\/a>\u00a0is a serious potential\u00a0complication<\/a> of the abortion pill regimen.<\/p>\n
