Margaret, a post-abortive woman, told her abortion story in a 2007\u00a0BBC article<\/a>, explaining that she was lied to about her baby. When she went for a second abortion years later and that child survived, she realized her first abortion had killed a baby. She now regrets her misinformed choice.<\/p>\n

Margaret became pregnant after an affair with a married man. When he decided to get back together with his wife, she said her pregnancy \u201cchanged from being a baby to a problem.\u201d\u00a0Emotionally overwhelmed, Margaret said, “I didn’t think I could cope\u2026 I was feeling fear and panic. I was reacting to a crisis, and I had never had a crisis like that in my life. My life was out of control, and I wanted to get back to normal.”<\/p>\n

Margaret says that at the abortion facility, \u201cI asked if at ten weeks it was a baby, and they said, ‘No, it’s just cells.’\u201d<\/p>\n

A child at 10 weeks has arms, legs, fingers, and toes. He or she has detectable\u00a0brain waves<\/a>, is already right or left-handed<\/a>, has unique fingerprints<\/a>, and can already suck his or her thumb<\/a>.<\/p>\n
