The\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/legiscan.com\/MS\/text\/HB1510\/id\/1692666\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">law<\/a>\u00a0states that 15 weeks was chosen as the time limit for two main reasons:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Abortion\u2019s physical risks to women\u00a0increase\u00a0as the gestational age of her preborn child increases. (Read more about that <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/researchers-abortionists-abortion-second-trimester-dangerous\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>.)<\/li>\n<li>The most commonly used form of abortion in the second trimester is the violent\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=jgw4X7Dw_3k&amp;list=PLRCroccSjXWR9HVr_ooA3ErEAR0SifdwY&amp;index=3\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">D&amp;E abortion procedure<\/a>, also known as dismemberment abortion.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Warning: Graphic images below.<\/strong><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>What is a D&amp;E abortion?\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A D&amp;E abortion is the most commonly used second-trimester abortion procedure \u2014\u00a0and also the most brutally violent \u2014\u00a0between weeks 13 and 24 of pregnancy. It involves first dilating the mother&#8217;s cervix about 24 to 48 hours ahead of the final steps of the procedure. During the second part of the abortion, a suction machine removes the amniotic fluid from the uterus and then the abortionist uses a Sopher clamp to grasp the arms and legs of the preborn child and tear each limb from her torso. He then tears apart the delicate baby&#8217;s torso, removing the spine and organs before grasping her skull and crushing it.<\/p>\n<p>This involves no small amount of force as the baby&#8217;s gestational age increases. Abortionist DeShawn Taylor joked on undercover video that she needed to &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/abortionist-describes-strength-needed-for-de-abortion-i-have-to-hit-the-gym-for-this\/\">hit the gym<\/a>&#8221; to gain the strength needed to commit the dismemberment procedure.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The abortionist knows he has crushed the skull when a white substance comes out of the cervix,&#8221; explained former abortionist, Dr. Anthony Levatino, in a video at <a href=\"http:\/\/abortionprocedures.com\">AbortionProcedures.com<\/a>. &#8220;This was the baby&#8217;s brains. The abortionist then removes skull pieces.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/jgw4X7Dw_3k\" width=\"640\" height=\"355\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Once the abortionist scrapes out the mother&#8217;s uterus in an attempt to ensure all body parts and placenta are removed, an abortion worker or the abortionist pieces the baby back together like a puzzle, to ensure that there are two legs, two arms, and all other body parts accounted for. Any body parts left inside the uterus can cause infection and possibly death for the mother.<\/p>\n<p>As is evident in the video above, a D&amp;E abortion is inhumane and cruel. They suffered as they struggled and fought to stay with their Mommy that day\u2026 Even as I was trying to let them go,&#8221; Dana, whose triplets died by a D&amp;E abortion, <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/parts-aborted-triplets-left-inside-trying-hold\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">told<\/a>\u00a0photographer Angela Forker for the After the Abortion photography series. &#8220;They still wanted their Mommy.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Can the preborn child feel pain at 15 weeks?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A D&amp;E abortion is inhumane, and according to recent research, preborn children are likely to feel pain\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/preborn-babies-heightened-pain-8-weeks\/\">by or even before<\/a>\u00a0the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/pro-abortion-researcher-preborn-pain-earlier\/\">end of the first trimester<\/a>. According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ehd.org\/science_main.php?level=i\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Endowment for Human Development<\/a>, by nine weeks post-fertilization (11 weeks after the mother&#8217;s last menstrual period), a preborn child&#8217;s face, hands, and feet are sensitive even to light touch. These children are certainly able to feel the pain of a clamp grasping and tearing off their leg or arm.<\/p>\n<p>Despite these facts, whether or not the child can feel pain at any point during pregnancy is, in a way, irrelevant. There are born individuals who are unable to feel pain. The inability to feel pain does not strip a human being of her humanity, and it is <em>always<\/em> morally wrong to kill an innocent human being.<\/p>\n<p><strong>READ:\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/no-place-civilized-society-abortions-15-weeks\/\">\u2018No place in civilized society\u2019: The truth about abortions at 15 weeks<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>What happens to the baby&#8217;s body?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s hard to imagine what has become of the <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/65-million-bodies-industry-disposes-aborted-children\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">bodies<\/a> of the 65 million babies killed by abortion in the United States since 1973. So where did they all go?<\/p>\n<p>Some bodies have been thrown in dumpsters and others flushed down toilets and drains. Many are thrown into hazardous waste bins while others are stored in freezers for lengthy periods of time. In Oregon, the bodies of aborted children have been burned to create electricity and in the case of abortionist\u00a0Ulrich \u201cGeorge\u201d Klopfer, more than 2,200 bodies were stored in his garage until his death in 2019. Other bodies have been <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/researcher-exposes-project-aborted-organs-university-pittsburgh\/\">parceled<\/a> out for <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/unm-body-parts-19-week-aborted-florida\/\">research<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/hair-scalps-aborted-children-grows-humanized-mice\/\">experimentation<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Mississippi&#8217;s attempt to restrict abortion to the first 15 weeks of pregnancy was carefully considered for justifiable reasons.
