{"id":249176,"date":"2021-07-14T16:41:44","date_gmt":"2021-07-14T21:41:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.liveaction.org\/news\/?p=249176"},"modified":"2021-07-16T09:56:22","modified_gmt":"2021-07-16T14:56:22","slug":"six-years-pro-life-investigators-aborted-parts","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/six-years-pro-life-investigators-aborted-parts\/","title":{"rendered":"WATCH: Six years ago, pro-life investigators exposed the gruesome market for aborted body parts"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;\" class=\"sharethis-inline-share-buttons\" ><\/div><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Center for Medical Progress (CMP) is marking the sixth anniversary of the release of its original undercover video <a href=\"https:\/\/www.centerformedicalprogress.org\/2015\/07\/planned-parenthoods-top-doctor-praised-by-ceo-uses-partial-birth-abortions-to-sell-baby-parts\/\">series<\/a> exposing Planned Parenthood\u2019s role in the harvesting and trafficking of aborted children.\u00a0On July 14, the group <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.centerformedicalprogress.org\/2021\/07\/new-video-stop-human-trafficking-of-aborted-infants\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">released<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> a new summary video of its undercover reporting, as well as a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=rGqTKfxirZs&amp;list=PL_S490a2o7lSDZikS8zKpq7wGtVXLfOW7\">re-release of the uncut video footage<\/a> capturing top Planned Parenthood executives discussing the harvesting and selling of aborted baby body parts.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The newly released summary video seeks to refute the claims made by Planned Parenthood and its media and Congressional allies that much of the original footage was \u201cheavily edited\u201d and \u201cdoctored\u201d \u2014 assertions which were <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/forensic-analysis-finds-full-planned-parenthood-videos-authentic\/\">proven false<\/a> by two independent forensic investigations in 2015, the same year the videos were launched. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/DL__1P0tcrY\" width=\"640\" height=\"355\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><span data-mce-type=\"bookmark\" style=\"display: inline-block; width: 0px; overflow: hidden; line-height: 0;\" class=\"mce_SELRES_start\">\ufeff<\/span><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The original release of CMP\u2019s undercover investigation resulted in the closure of multiple fetal tissue harvesting companies contracted with Planned Parenthood \u2014\u00a0namely Novogenix Laboratories, LLC, DaVinci Biosciences, LLC, and DV Biologics, LLC. As noted in CMP\u2019s press release on the re-release of their full footage, \u201cThe DaVinci companies <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.latimes.com\/local\/lanow\/la-me-fetal-tissue-20171209-story.html\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">admitted<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> illegally selling aborted fetal body parts from Planned Parenthood Orange &amp; San Bernardino Counties and were shut down in a $7.8 million settlement with the local District Attorney, who credited CMP\u2019s undercover reporting with prompting the successful prosecution.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">CMP\u2019s original release also launched an <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.judiciary.senate.gov\/imo\/media\/doc\/QFR%20Responses%202-28.pdf\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ongoing<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> investigation of Planned Parenthood by the FBI and the U.S. Department of Justice for their participation in the illegal trafficking of the bodies of aborted children, including harvested organs and limbs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The newly-released videos come in the wake of an <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/judge-criminal-trial-center-medical-progress-proceed\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">onslaught<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> of criticism and judicial action not against Planned Parenthood, as would be expected from the incriminating undercover video footage, but on CMP\u2019s undercover investigative journalists who exposed the horrors. In response to the original videos, which depicted Planned Parenthood employees haggling over getting the best profits for body parts (complete with comments about hoping to earn enough to buy a Lamborghini), the multi-billion dollar abortion corporation took CMP founder David Daleiden and CMP investigator Sandra Merritt to court.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to a <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/center-for-medical-progress-appeal\/\">previous report<\/a> from Live Action News, in 2019,\u00a0&#8220;U.S. District Court Judge William Orrick III told [a] jury that the First Amendment [did] not apply in this case, which defense attorneys disputed. Orrick has ties to Planned Parenthood and refused to recuse himself from the case or allow most of the undercover videos at the center of the case to be played for the jury.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>As a result, David Daleiden and CMP were forced to pay Planned Parenthood nearly $1 million dollars in punitive damages. CMP\u2019s crime? Violating California&#8217;s \u201ceavesdropping laws,\u201d despite the fact that the undercover recordings took place in public places like restaurants. Meanwhile, the multi-billion dollar abortion corporation continues to profit from the destruction of nearly 1,000 children a day and the sale of their murdered bodies.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">CMP hopes to boost its appeal to the Department of Justice by getting more signatures for their <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.centerformedicalprogress.org\/fetal-trafficking-under-oath\/justice\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">petition<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to \u201cfile charges against any entity involved in trafficking baby body parts.\u201d CMP reiterates in its press release that \u201c<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Planned Parenthood and their powerful political allies have retaliated viciously against the publication of the videos, in a telling admission of how badly they got caught and how damning and incriminating the full truth will
