Whitfield Road has been the location of the clinic since 1925, but after years of 40 Days for Life Campaigns on the facility&#8217;s sidewalks, it reportedly closed its doors on May 29th.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In a video posted to\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=pa160Eg_vuU\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">YouTube<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, the nation\u2019s 40 Days for Life founder Robert Colquhoun could not contain his joy. \u201cThis is the latest abortion center to close in the United Kingdom,\u201d he said. \u201cIt\u2019s where our first ever 40 Days for Life campaign started in the United Kingdom, and I\u2019m so happy that this abortion center has finally closed. Praised be Jesus Christ!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/pa160Eg_vuU\" width=\"640\" height=\"355\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><span data-mce-type=\"bookmark\" style=\"display: inline-block; width: 0px; overflow: hidden; line-height: 0;\" class=\"mce_SELRES_start\">\ufeff<\/span><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">MSI Reproductive Choices has been in the spotlight in recent years. In 2020, the abortion business <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/uk-marie-stopes-abortion-name-distance-eugenics\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">changed its name<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to distance itself from the racist views of Marie Stopes, who wrote <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.independent.co.uk\/voices\/notebook-the-monster-and-the-master-race-she-altered-women-s-lives-for-ever-but-a-new-book-reveals-that-marie-stopes-s-motives-were-distinctly-dubious-1541975.html\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">admiring letters to Adolf Hitler<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and founded the Society for Constructive Birth Control and Racial Progress. However, the organization has an outreach in Africa that has <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/marie-stopes-gives-young-african-girls-long-term-birth-control-without-parental-consent\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">distributed long-acting birth control to underage girls without parental consent<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, continuing Stopes\u2019 racist legacy.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>READ:\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/marie-stopes-exec-abortion-pill-complications-uk\/\">Former Marie Stopes abortion exec: Abortion pill complications massively underreported in UK<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The closing comes despite a large increase in British taxpayer funds to MSI Reproductive Choices in recent years, as <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/uk-scandal-marie-stopes-abortion-5000-percent\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Live Action News reported.<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> In 2019, the organization\u2019s chief executive received a <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/righttolife.org.uk\/news\/marie-stopes-boss-receives-100-bonus-as-organisation-performs-4-8-million-abortions\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">100% bonus<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, which came notwithstanding a damning 2016 report by the UK\u2019s Care Quality Commission (CQC) which <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/shocking-report-finds-that-marie-stopes-clinics-coercing-women-into-abortion-throwing-babies-into-trash-cans-and-more\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">cited many locations<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> for <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/article-4053726\/The-2-600-safety-flaws-Marie-Stopes-abortion-clinics-including-doctors-going-home-women-sedation-foetuses-waste-bins-cremated.html\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">thousands of unsafe practices<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> including throwing bodies of aborted babies in the trash, bulk signing of consent forms without showing or explaining them to patients, doctors going home while patients were sedated, as well as medical staff lacking training in resuscitation and other critical life-saving measures. One horrifying <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetimes.co.uk\/article\/marie-stopes-boss-was-paid-420-000-3x95zxllr\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">story<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> recounted giving a vulnerable and distressed patient an abortion without her consent.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Two reports the following year found that MSI had paid <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.independent.co.uk\/news\/uk\/home-news\/abortions-marie-stopes-clinic-bonuses-persuade-women-investigation-a8012171.html\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">bonuses to employees<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> when women had abortions as part of a way to encourage more abortions. A second report detailed 400 botched abortions in two months and almost two dozen emergency transfer to the hospital after failed abortions. The findings ultimately forced the abortion chain to put a halt to half of their abortions while the serious issues were addressed.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After Marie Stopes\u2019 original clinic went bankrupt in 1976, it was <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/society\/2014\/dec\/16\/tim-black\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">taken over and re-founded<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> as Marie Stopes International by Tim Black and <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/funds-promotes-abortions-money-selling-porn\/\">Phil Harvey<\/a>, owners of Adam and Eve, one of the largest sex shop\/pornography companies in the world, which has in turn <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/article-8302569\/Marie-Stopes-abortion-charity-accepted-millions-pounds-funding-porn-baron.html\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">given millions of dollars<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to the international abortion chain.
