The View co-host Joy Behar gave an underhanded but illuminating response<\/a> on Monday to her pro-life co-host Meghan McCain’s statement<\/a> regarding President Biden, Catholicism, and abortion, implying that McCain’s pro-life views are inconsistent, while her own pro-abortion views are consistent. However, in doing so, she exposed the truth that abortion is murder and should be legally classified as such.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s like saying, \u2018Personally I\u2019m opposed to murder but if you want to murder a little bit it\u2019s fine because it\u2019s not my problem,\u201d said<\/a> McCain of Biden and his “personally pro-life” position on abortion. \u201c[\u2026] And he\u2019s going to have to talk to his Creator when the time comes, as we all do, and reconcile his politics with his personal faith.\u201d\u00a0She also stated that abortion is murder, and therefore is the “government funding the killing of the unborn.”<\/p>\n

Behar fired back, not mentioning McCain by name, but seemingly targeting her.<\/p>\n

“Some people believe that the death penalty is also government-sanctioned murder and a lot of people who believe in the death penalty do not believe in abortion, so there’s a rather inconsistent thing right there,” she said. “I personally am pro-choice and under certain circumstances, I believe in the death penalty, so I am very consistent.”<\/p>\n

While other rebuttals to Behar’s claims have been made by pro-lifers who support the use of the death penalty for convicted criminals, Behar’s claims of her own consistency \u2014 her support for both abortion and the death penalty \u2014 is an acknowledgement that, ultimately, she knows\u00a0both <\/strong><\/em>of these actions end the lives of human beings<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n
