LeRoy Carhart, the notorious late-term abortionist who has caused the deaths of at least two women and injured many more, has injured another patient.<\/p>\n

According to Operation Rescue<\/a>, on March 10, 2021, Carhart sent a woman to the hospital from his facility in Bethesda, Maryland, after botching her\u00a021-week<\/a> abortion. He had attempted to commit a dilation and evacuation<\/a>\u00a0(D&E) abortion on the 37-year-old woman, but something went wrong. She was taken to Holy Cross Hospital after Carhart admitted that he didn’t feel “confident,” and suspected the abortion may not have been completed.<\/p>\n

Carhart holds no admitting privileges at Holy Cross or at any other hospital. This means if the abortion truly was incomplete, the emergency room staff would not have access<\/a> to the woman’s medical records and information concerning the abortion but would possibly have been forced to finish the procedure in order to save the woman’s life.<\/p>\n
