The caller said the patient was still awake and breathing, but that\u00a0the bleeding was serious, and they had given her a couple of interventions to try to control it.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When asked for the address, the caller directed dispatch to send first responders to the Lincoln Street side of the building, which is at the back of the facility and not the main entrance. She said someone would be at the Lincoln Street parking lot to direct paramedics.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pro-life groups <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/prolifeutah.org\/news\/article.cfm?id=631&amp;fbclid=IwAR1LBN6YsTdB47y5fFGL2kdUMvrcLSjuacJh1m5QOAXQoMWR4XBZfiqv5ZU\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">believe<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> paramedics were directed away from the main entrance to avoid negative media attention.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sadly, this was not an isolated incident. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to publicly available <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/prolifeutah.org\/news\/article.cfm?id=631&amp;fbclid=IwAR1LBN6YsTdB47y5fFGL2kdUMvrcLSjuacJh1m5QOAXQoMWR4XBZfiqv5ZU\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">documents<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> obtained by Pro-life Utah<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, approximately 20 incident reports were filed concerning this same abortion facility from February 2020 through June 2020. These incidents include abortion-related complications such as excessive bleeding, perforation, laceration, and retained \u201cproducts of conception&#8221; &#8212; meaning body parts of the aborted baby were left inside the uterus.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/aMipN06UzB8\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In these situations, the cost of emergency transport is the responsibility of the patient. Planned Parenthood\u2019s policy states:<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">No promise can be made about the outcome of your abortion. In the unlikely event that you need emergency medical care that cannot be provided at Planned Parenthood, you will be responsible for paying for it. This is the case even if Planned Parenthood sends you to another doctor or hospital because of a problem.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Planned Parenthood and other pro-abortion groups often claim that abortion is not dangerous for women. These incidents prove this claim is absolutely false.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Live Action News has reported on numerous instances of abortion centers injuring women. In January 2021, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/dangerous-ohio-abortion-facility-injures-another-woman\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">an ambulance was called<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to the Women\u2019s Med Dayton abortion business for a woman who was suffering from heavy bleeding following an abortion. The abortion center has a history of injuring women.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>READ:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/study-abortion-pill-four-times-dangerous-surgical\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Study: Abortion pill is four times more dangerous than surgical abortion<\/em><\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Moreover, with the push for telehealth during the COVID-19 pandemic, many abortionists now advocate for chemical abortions (the abortion pill) at home. These do-it-at home abortions are very risky for women. For instance, the woman could have an undiagnosed ectopic pregnancy, which could be fatal, or she could be further along in her pregnancy than she realizes, which carries additional risks to the abortion pill. She could also hemorrhage at home alone.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At-home abortions also impact the mental health of the mother. <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/teen-abortion-pill-haunted-baby-look-person\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In one case<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, a 17-year-old girl was emotionally traumatized after taking the abortion pill and delivering her dead child in the toilet. She expected to experience clotting and was never told she would see her baby\u2019s body. She said the experience would \u201chaunt me for the rest of my life.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As Live Action researcher Carole Novielli <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/do-it-yourself-abortion-isnt-health-care\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">explained:<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Now, with the advent of DIY abortions, health professionals and facilities will be replaced by pharmacists, postal carriers, and questionable online websites.
