In a Yelp review for a Planned Parenthood abortion facility in Massachusetts, a woman named Elizabeth claimed that clinic workers forced abortion on her. There is no way to verify her claims, but she said while the staff was nice they didn’t allow her to back out of the abortion when she changed her mind. Unfortunately, Elizabeth is not alone and stories of forced abortion<\/a> are more common than people realize.<\/p>\n

“The staff where [sic] really nice, but when I was there I told them that I couldn’t go through with the procedure and they told me I signed the paperwork so they were going to do it anyway,” wrote Elizabeth. “Now I’m getting admitted to a hospital for having pregnancy tissue still in my uterus and an infection because of dirty tools.”<\/p>\n

Of course, there is no way to be sure this review is genuine. But if it is, this is not the only time abortion workers have forced women into abortions.<\/p>\n

The pro-life organization Save the Storks recently shared<\/a>\u00a0the story of another woman who had a forced abortion at Planned Parenthood after telling the staff she didn’t want to go through with it. First, she had a sonogram. She reported that the sonogram screen was turned away from her so she couldn\u2019t see her baby. On the abortion table, she began to cry:<\/p>\n

They asked me what was wrong, and I told them that I did not want to do this. I had changed my mind\u2026<\/em><\/p>\n

The doctor began to tell me that I didn\u2019t need a baby and that I had my whole life ahead of me.<\/em><\/p>\n

I began to cry harder, and they strapped me down. I asked them to please unstrap me and let me leave. The anesthesia was administered, and I fell asleep to the sound of their laughter. When I woke up, I was hurting physically as well as emotionally. All around me were the sounds of other women sobbing.<\/em><\/p>\n

Another woman told the story<\/a> of her late-term abortion on LiveJournal.\u00a0It was done by D&E (Dilation and Evacuation) abortion. A D&E takes two days to carry out. On the first day, the abortionist inserts sticks called laminaria into a woman\u2019s body to dilate her cervix. The next day, the baby is dismembered and extracted with forceps. Former abortionist Dr. Anthony Levatino describes the procedure in the video below:<\/p>\n
