Eighteen years ago, Griffin Baron was a 21-year-old working as a shift supervisor at Starbucks. He had no idea that he was about to deliver a baby \u2014 or that nearly two decades later, he would be reunited<\/a>\u00a0with\u00a0the child he helped bring into the world.<\/p>\n

On August 20, 2002, Baron sold Lisabeth Rohlck a bottle of water before she headed to the bathroom. Rohlck was heavily pregnant, just three weeks shy<\/a> of her due date. A commotion quickly caught Baron’s attention. “I just heard these high-pitched screams,” Baron told Good Morning America<\/a>. “I’m 21. I know nothing about delivering babies. All I knew was you get hot towels, because that’s what you see in movies. I opened the bathroom door, and I see a customer huffing and puffing and a baby is coming out.”<\/p>\n

There was a huge media frenzy after the delivery, but Baron never saw Rohlck again. Yet he still wondered what became of the baby. “I thought about him constantly,” he said. “What type of person he turned out to be, if he was a funny little kid…”<\/p>\n
