But Heartbeat International\u2019s network of APR providers did not miss a beat, nor deviate from the mission of serving women who regret starting a chemical abortion.<\/p>\n<p>The APRN hotline nurses immediately noticed an uncharacteristic pattern, but despite the red flag, the committed professionals at both the APRN and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.heartbeatinternational.org\/our-work\/option-line\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Option Line<\/a> continued to provide the usual compassionate service and care intended for women in genuine need.<\/p>\n<p>The suspicion was confirmed Monday as openDemocracy contacted Heartbeat for response to the \u201cfindings\u201d of its &#8220;investigative report&#8221; on the APRN.<\/p>\n<h4>The APRN and Option Line teams performed excellently<\/h4>\n<p>Anticipating the ruse the week before, Heartbeat International President Jor-El Godsey said that if pro-abortion forces such as the website behind <a href=\"https:\/\/pregnancyhelpnews.com\/soros-funded-org-puts-a-hit-out-on-pregnancy-help-centers\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">previous unfounded criticism<\/a> of Heartbeat\u2019s life-saving work sought to convict Heartbeat of performing its Christ-centered mission of serving women facing unplanned pregnancy &#8211; then the verdict is guilty as charged.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe know that our team only supplied evidence that we love and care for women as they seek to make the choice to rescue their baby from a chemical abortion,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe good news?\u201d Godsey said, \u201cOur team performed excellently.\u201d\u00a0<b><\/b><\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe hear from women every single day who regret taking mifepristone to end a pregnancy and desire a way to continue their pregnancies and rescue their babies,\u201d said Christa Brown, director of Medical Impact at Heartbeat International. \u201cAbortion Pill Rescue Network listens to their requests and offers women real choices even after starting a chemical abortion.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/lRDnVSMr5j0\" width=\"640\" height=\"355\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h4>How sad &#8211; all the time and effort to divert the pregnancy help mission<\/h4>\n<p>\u201cWe are called to serve and the APRN\/OL team did,\u201d said Godsey, \u201ceven with their suspicions. The nurse managers jumped in and took the sudden overflow of international calls, handling them with grace and good intent. Well done APRN and Option Line team!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The APRN and staff at Option Line spent multiple hours with the duplicitous contacts, in some cases the conversations were spread out over two to three days. This was time taken from serving women who truly needed their services.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Big Abortion allies at openDemocracy may have grist for their hit piece, but what they really did was distract our good people from the life-saving work APR actually is,\u201d Godsey said. \u201cIt will certainly be lost on openDemocracy that their efforts fail women.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Peggy Hartshorn, longtime president and board chair for Heartbeat International, concurred.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is a credit to our team that they all performed so beautifully and lovingly even with their doubts about the authenticity of the calls for help,\u201d she said. \u201cHow sad all the time and effort &#8216;wasted&#8217; as they tried to take us &#8216;off mission&#8217;!\u201d<\/p>\n<h4>The reality is 2,000 lives (and counting) have been saved thanks to abortion pill reversal<\/h4>\n<p>As the number of lives saved thanks to the APRN continues to grow, so does awareness of the APRN and abortion pill reversal.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.abortionpillreversal.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Abortion Pill Reversal<\/a> involves emergency, ongoing doses of progesterone, a time-tested, FDA-approved treatment used for decades to prevent miscarriage and preterm birth. The study showed found that 64%-68% of the pregnancies were saved through abortion pill reversal, there was no increase in birth defects and there was a lower preterm delivery rate than the general population.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/pregnancyhelpnews.com\/can-chemical-abortion-be-reversed\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Nonetheless<\/a>, abortion <a href=\"https:\/\/pregnancyhelpnews.com\/a-bogus-disclaimer-for-abortion-pill-reversal\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">apologists<\/a> continually misrepresent the <a href=\"https:\/\/pregnancyhelpnews.com\/how-abortion-pill-reversal-works-scientifically\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">abortion reversal protocol<\/a> with extraneous monikers to undercut its credibility despite the statistics showing more than 2,000 lives saved.<\/p>\n<p>The detraction efforts aimed at APR mirror comparable tries to demean pregnancy help across the board to protect the big abortion bottom line.<\/p>\n<p>The same abortion activist group instigating the counterfeit contacts to the APRN was behind a 2020 pro-abortion <a href=\"https:\/\/pregnancyhelpnews.com\/soros-funded-org-puts-a-hit-out-on-pregnancy-help-centers\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">campaign<\/a> to portray Heartbeat International as religious extremists responsible for misinforming women. A similar effort the year before from another Soros-linked group, Privacy International, also <a href=\"https:\/\/pregnancyhelpnews.com\/commentary\/item\/1777-privacy-international-s-attempt-to-discredit-pro-life-organization-falls-flat\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">fell flat<\/a>. And <a href=\"https:\/\/pregnancyhelpnews.com\/fake-reviews-attempt-to-diminish-the-reputation-of-pregnancy-help-organizations-backfires\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">abortion activists<\/a> regularly <a href=\"https:\/\/pregnancyhelpnews.com\/abortion-zealots-slander-pregnancy-help-centers-as-foxholes-of-fakery\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">seek to paint<\/a> pregnancy help organizations (PHOs) <a href=\"https:\/\/pregnancyhelpnews.com\/advocates-for-youth-attempts-to-spread-lies-about-pregnancy-resource-centers\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">on the whole<\/a> as \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/pregnancyhelpnews.com\/new-attack-strategy-same-lies\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">fake clinics<\/a>,\u201d also through distorting PHOs\u2019 work and results.<\/p>\n<h4>Every woman deserves to know the whole truth about abortion<\/h4>\n<p>Heartbeat\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/pregnancycentertruth.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">PregnancyCenterTruth.com<\/a> website was created several years ago to correct the misinformation directed at pregnancy centers.<\/p>\n<p>Heartbeat, the APRN and PHOs worldwide hold that every woman deserves to know the whole truth about abortion &#8211; and that includes the facts about her unborn child, and the choices she can make every step of the way in her decision.<\/p>\n<p>Because of their attentiveness to clients, the committed professionals in the APRN were quick to spot the latest attempt to derail the delivery of life-affirming service to women, their children and families.<\/p>\n<p>They often get calls from outside the U.S., but the calls don&#8217;t typically happen from a variety of countries in a seemingly connected sequence.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;They seemed like regular requests we often get on our APR hotline,&#8221; said Brown. &#8220;But one after another, uncharacteristically, were insistent that we communicate only through email.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It&#8217;s not uncommon for women to be questioning reversal, just as it&#8217;s not unusual for them to question their choice to continue with the abortion,&#8221; Brown said. &#8220;It&#8217;s just uncommon for 16 out of 17 to do so in a concentrated amount of time, and all international.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>READ:\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/exposed-behind-recent-attacks-abortion-pill-reversal\/\">EXPOSED: Who is behind recent attacks on abortion pill reversal?<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The press inquiry to Heartbeat following the fake APR contacts was derogatory toward abortion pill reversal, relying upon a <a href=\"https:\/\/pregnancyhelpnews.com\/unethical-abortion-pill-reversal-study-manufactures-results\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">discredited study led by<\/a> an <a href=\"https:\/\/abortiondocs.org\/abortionists\/mitchell-d-creinin\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">abortion doctor<\/a> who <a href=\"https:\/\/escholarship.org\/content\/qt8vh5795x\/qt8vh5795x_noSplash_e7c22a2fb76e3ba50878a12340029372.pdf?t=q4gfae\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">has also been<\/a> a <a href=\"https:\/\/pregnancyhelpnews.com\/unethical-abortion-pill-reversal-study-manufactures-results\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">paid consultant<\/a> for an abortion pill manufacturer. <a href=\"https:\/\/pregnancyhelpnews.com\/unethical-abortion-pill-reversal-study-manufactures-results\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The study<\/a> was <a href=\"https:\/\/pregnancyhelpnews.com\/media-medical-associations-mischaracterize-study-of-abortion-reversal-treatment-chemical-abortion-not-abortion-pill-reversal-is-dangerous\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">intended<\/a> to debunk APR, but <a href=\"https:\/\/pregnancyhelpnews.com\/contrary-to-media-reports-new-abortion-pill-study-finds-it-endangers-women-and-reversal-works\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">in reality<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/pregnancyhelpnews.com\/news\/item\/1941-media-calls-abortion-pill-reversal-dangerous-based-on-questionable-study-that-actually-showed-the-opposite\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">showed the danger<\/a> of <a href=\"https:\/\/pregnancyhelpnews.com\/contrary-to-media-reports-new-abortion-pill-study-finds-it-endangers-women-and-reversal-works\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">the abortion pill<\/a>. <a href=\"https:\/\/prh.org\/physician-members\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The same doctor<\/a> had also completed a <a href=\"https:\/\/pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/10457864\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">1999 study <\/a>affirming the risks of the abortion pill. The inquiry also referenced \u201cpolicymakers and health experts\u201d the activist group\u2019s operatives were talking to who would be expectedly critical of APR.<\/p>\n<p>Godsey said it could be expected too that the group behind the website would again twist their \u201cinvestigative\u201d experience to try to diminish Heartbeat\u2019s work and favor their abortion friends.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf openDemocracy holds true to form, as it did in 2020, its investigation will consist of misinformation, half-truths, and false statements informed more by their bias for abortion and protecting abortion profits, rather than by their concern for women&#8217;s choice to save their baby,\u201d he said. \u201cThey use their &#8220;investigative journalism&#8221; to project fear and create obstacles for women seeking life-saving help.
